I'm pretty sure we already have the 'what' and the 'why' figured out

Pie and I are a maybe, leaning yes more if we can stay for 5-7 days instead of just the weekend. I have half a mind to drive up there instead of flying though. Anyone thinking of going to this and is more or less along the route from Raleigh to Chicago, hit me up.

Google maps said 12 1/2 without stops. I suppose it would be more if we detoured to pick someone up along the way. When we moved to the commune we did 9 1/2 (11-12 with stops) with me as the only driver on about 3 hours sleep, and Pie will probably be able to help drive this time around, so I figure that's probably not so bad. Plus road trips are fun and cheaper than flying. :D

Ok so

There's definitely enough space for everyone from the 13-15th? So if Pie and I were to come up on the 12th and leave the afternoon/evening of the 16th or 17th, we'd just have to worry about accommodations for the 12th and maybe during the day on the 16th (and also that night and the next day if we stayed through the 17th), is that correct?

Also does anyone living in the area have space available for those days still or has that all been snatched up already?

I don't think so, besides people sending me money.

Do you have Venmo or Paypal?

Google wallet is a super convenient option as well; scumhaus has been using it to handle bills

Snow is fun, ice belongs on a skating rink or in my fridge and not on the road :|

Pie and I are likely /out as well unless someone else from the Commune ends up wanting to carpool up there. Our car wreck last month set Pie back on the driving thing and I'm emphatically -not- flying anywhere anytime soon. :/
