If you're flying into town, you can go to SFO or SJC, as I'm an equal distance from both (~22 min by car).
SFO to Palo Alto: BART from SFO to Millbrae Caltrain station (requires a transfer BART-BART, which is annoying). Caltrain to Palo Alto station. You can take a bus from there or we can pick you up.
SJC to Palo Alto: #10 VTA bus from SJC to Santa Clara Caltrain station. Caltrain to Palo Alto station, etc...
Either trip while take about an hour and a half. Depending on timing and driver availability, we may have someone who can pick you up at the airport if needed, so post your travel info.

Beach (not super close but not super far, we could do a day trip if people want. It'll be the end of May so hopefully not a terrible time for beach-going? I dunno, I'm not a Cali person)
Baseball Game (not my cup of tea, personally, but the Giants have home games the 23rd-27th, if you're interested)
Amusement Park (Great America & Six Flags are both in the area if people are into that, but it costs $$)
Get mugged in Oakland (jk...)

I have a grill and a lot of cooking implements...we can do pretty much anything. I'll stock up on some food in advance, and we might go shopping the first night to pick up things people want. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let me know so we can take that into account. Chipping in for food costs is much appreciated, should be pretty cheap. We managed to feed ~10 people for 5 days on $20-30/person last time I hosted a meet.
I have no problems with people drinking at my meet, I'll certainly be having a few myself. BYOB, I'll have some generic liquors on-hand for mixed drinks but I don't do beer so get your own.

Towels (I have some extra towels for people, but not enough to supply the whole meet)
Cash moneyz (if you're planning to get out and go places at all during the meet)
Laptop (if you play LoL or just want access to the interwebz, I've got wi-fi and a good connection)

I know I pushed pretty hard for this and I'm looking at my schedule and I'm not sure? But if this meet starts on Thursday I might be able to do like Thursday night- Sunday morning.

/in for Friday - Monday. Monday's a little iffy though. I basically can swing days, with planning, that do not have court barring an emergency.
For Sacramento people or people on route from Sacramento to the bay area, my car can hold four. I may be driving there and back daily, so for people with lives, this shouldn't be a problem. The only requirement is that people chip in for gas as repeated trips get expensive.
Also, please make sure there is a high speed internet connection, in the rare event I have to work. Blech.
I'm basing this on past experience...week-long meets require a lot more interest to pull off, or you end up with small groups of people arriving and different times and basically missing each other. The Reckoning is the exception to the rule because it was held over New Year's (and because Reck is awesome =P).

This would be me too, although it would be very much so a "maybe". Know I will need to take most of the next week off of work so this one is going to be much more up in the air if I need to meet some project deadlines.

Straight up. I think both full-fledged meets I've been to (scumburgh not included because that was an impromptu gathering rather than a meet proper) has been at least 7 days and been full o' people the whole time.
I'll probably just strong arm AP Into letting me crash at his place for a few more days so that I can make it cost efficient
