If you want to be nice to whoever's going to inherit whatever you've got, you should make sure someone has access to all your passwords and financial records, get them set up as co-owners of whatever you've got so the taxes are less and the transfers easy, etc. A LOT of stuff has to be dealt with and the more organized you are, the easier it's going to be on your loved ones.

I'd just do whatever I had planned for that day.
I'm totally cool with the way I live my life so dying isn't that big of a deal to me.
At some point in the future I actually plan to pick the day that I die.

One concession that I would make is probably food. I preserve and can lots of food but on my last day I'd want fresh food.

Can I plan this in advance or do I find out on the day?

If the latter, I'm not sure. I would pick a hard-seeming goal and complete it, hopefully it would take me almost all day and I would die happy that I had won it.

Summon a bunch of doctors to observe and study the bizarre circumstances of pre-ordained spontaneous death. I'd call everyone and talk to them and see the people who are most important to me, but I wouldn't tell anyone I was dying. I'd want to see them one last time, but without it being depressing.

This is probably the saddest post in this thread so far. I grew up seeing stars every night. I miss them greatly now that I live in the city. I look up and see brown. Damn man, you need to see the stars. It is one of those little things that you can't forget.

Now, let's be realistic. Right now I have no hook-ups for fun chemicals, except for weed, which I hate with a passion. For me at least, I have no grand plans. I would call my parents and relatives and tell them I love them (something I should do more often). After that I would listen to my favorite band's discography, take some sleeping pills, and just sleep and not wake up.

people are saying drugs and sex, idk that sounds like too much work.

I would just order tons of pizza, stay in and get drunk and eat pizza all day. That sounds much easier and less stressful.

Am I going to die -tomorrow- or 24 hours from now? Because it's almost tomorrow so I probably would just take a leisurely shower then go to bed.

I'd do all my pampering routines, shave, moisturize everything, condition my hair do my nails then put on a something pretty and put my best sheets on my bed. I probably wouldn't have time for anything else.

If I had a day I'd hire a crew to come in and deep clean my house and do some repairs so when people come over to comfort my family they will be comfortable.
