What shows are you currently watching that you would suggest?
What movies are up right now that you totally loved?
I just watched Machine, which was interesting. I think Snowpiercer is still up too, which you should watch if you haven't.
Spoiler: Shows I keep on my list pretty much at all times:
Lost
Once Upon a Time
Friends
Star Trek (Original Series, Next Gen, DS9 and Voyager)
X-Files
Law and Order
The Mirror
The Walking Dead
Columbo
An Idiot Abroad
Cosmos
Aqua Teen Hunger Force
Criminal Minds
Damages
Started Archer because a friend asked. Not sold on it yet.
What else?
* Yes I know there's a movie thread and a TV thread, but this is for NETFLIX ONLY STUFF because some of us aren't so fancy with the cable and stuff.
I'm currently watching a documentary on History called "Mankind: The Story of all of us."
Things in my list currently are:
Lie to Me
Parenthood
Merlin
Lost
Law and Order: SVU
Prison Break
Burn Notice
Freaks and Geeks
Blackfish
Persons Unknown
Secrets of the Sun
Journey through the Universe
among others.
King Arthur is a movie that's up right now which I quite liked. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is another if you don't mind foreign shows. It was there for a while I think. The Interview wasn't terrible but I think it was rather popular and might be worth a watch depending on your sense of humor.
Oo yeah I saw that documentary. I keep suggesting it as an option when the guy and I sit down to watch something together and he always says no.
If you haven't watched Blackfish yet, do it soon! So, so sad. Freaks and Geeks was great I thought, but Derek didn't appreciate it like I thought he would - it's totally his generation. He really liked Prison Break though; he just watched it straight through and I got tired of him hogging the Xbox to do it lol...
Also I liked The Interview! But it was definitely a "high" movie. Watching it sober is dumb. XD
I'll have to check out some of the others I haven't seen. Like Merlin. I see that up there all the time, but I was such a fan of the SciFi mini-series that I thought that one might be kinda hokey in comparison.

hate that show! but i LOVE orange is the new black! i forgot to put that on there.

I never said nothin' back to him. You don't want mess with no freak that's searchin' around that hard for blood.
I can agree with that. I have never been a fan of a laugh track in anything.
MASH is nostalgia for me. I put it up there when I noticed they had it available. Even as long as it ran, I'm pretty sure I had seen every episode at least once by the time of the series finale. I'm just watching random episodes here and there as the mood strikes me, seeing how the series as whole wasn't really connected episode to episode. The overall story arc was a hospital during the Korean war. Aside from the progression of the war, there really wasn't an episode by episode progression.

The Killing
The French Connection
Harlock: Space Pirate
Mulan
Robin Hood
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze
Mean Girls
To Be Takei
Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy
The Rabbi's Cat
Automata
The Birdcage
Oculus
The Master
Beware of Mr. Baker
Fantasia 2000
Frida
The Running Man
The Hustler
Blue Ruin
Snowpiercer I didn't much like. I mean watching movies requires a certain suspension of disbelief and I can certainly buy the premise of the movie if the setting was an arena the size of a city or something.
Couldn't buy the premise on a train though, no matter how big. The survivors would have to rely on each other much more than in the movie, in my opinion. Not enough people nor enough room to have so severe of a class distinction especially considering they were last survivors of the human race and knew it.

I'm looking forward to actually starting Breaking Bad(should happen tomorrow). I've seen the pilot, but I don't really consider that "starting it", just knowing whether or not I want to start it.
I need to finish watching SyFy's 3-part special "Ascension" first, which I've been really enjoying.
