Regarding the NS Arrest News (Updated 12/3)

This thread was a global sticky a few days ago, and seeing a global sticky about a user getting arrested piqued my morbid curiosity. 80-odd skipped pages of trolling later, there was an opportunity for me to contribute in an almost-meaningful fashion, so I did because why not.

I don't think the threads I appear in are TOO strange, though. Outside of a number of game theory threads several years ago and the most recent Touhou Upicks, I've only posted in this thread and a trainwreck of a thread from a few years ago where someone was maybe-seriously coming on to UK.

Not really, we made another decision last night to grant leniency on a number of reported posts. We have handed out warnings on some stuff, though, so we are moderating -- just less strictly in the short term.
