I dunno. I still feel like that's not what it is unless like you say it's mild. I've always been hard on myself (you've seen it in mafia when I lose games after playing well like that SK game I still can't believe I fucked up). It's more because I'm competitive and always want to be the best so I'm looking to improve and learn from mistakes.

I definitely won't be getting doctors involved and stuff. Just not my thing. I don't even go to them for physical illness. Hell, my broken ankle from almost 4 years ago still hasn't healed and it's been over two years since I've seen a doctor over that and even when I did, they were idiots.

As far as not sleeping, there's nothing I can do. I work 16 hour days and have a 1 year old and my wife works nights so she sleeps during the day. And she's not sleeping enough either.

I appreciate the concern though. I really do. I just suck at showing it.

I'd guess lack of sleep is a large part of it. It truly is a huge factor in mental and physical health. Which is annoying because I really don't have time for it either right now (pulling my third all-nighter this week fml), so I feel your pain in that sense.

It sounds like you are overworked. 16 hour days is certainly no walk in the park and I've been around that mark on occasion. My last job had a pretty big commute and I definitely spent time working at home even after getting back from the office.

Right now I have two great job offers and I should be happy about having the luxury of picking between two good opportunities but instead I'm just stressed out and 2nd guessing myself over and over. It really is what you make of it; happiness kind of has to come from within which can be hard.

I'd recommend finding something that really relaxes you and do that and just enjoy the moment for 15 minutes a day or so. For me, its using the hottub at the 24 hour fitness I go to. Sitting in the hot water and just leaning back and not thinking about anything just gives me some momentary peace compared to the rest of my day which I riddle with anxiety and other such things.

Also if you haven't watched it, I highly recommend Netflix's series "Bojack horseman". Its a kind of dark comedy cartoon that explores a lot of deep emotional things. The main character spends season 1 worried that he is a bad person beyond help and most of the second season worried that he is entirely incapable of being happy in life. It definitely hit home for me a bit. My 2 cents.

I hope you read the dead thread in that game. We were all saying over and over and over how impressed we were with your play. Seriously, read it if you haven't. I understand being competitive and I hate losing also but you didn't fuck that up. You played incredibly well.

Yeah, but two days on and four off is pretty solid.

This is a good idea. The closest thing I have right now is afternoon naps while my son takes his nap or late night candy crush. Unfortunately, I rent so hot tub is out for now because I doubt I can take my son to somewhere that has one.

I used netflix once at my brother's house, but don't have it myself. All of my home internet use is on my phone with limited data. My wife just got some hot spot thing but I don't know what it is or how to use it and my laptop stopped working more than a year ago and I haven't bothered getting it fixed.
