FIRST Robotics Thread

Hey guys, I've had a few of you seem interested in knowing more when I've mentioned that I help run robotics events in Northeast Florida. So I figured I'd make a thread for you guys to throw your questions, experiences, and where we can all share some conversation about youth robotics.

So currently, I am a fellow with a nonprofit called The Mission Continues. They give fellowships to Veterans to go work at their local nonprofits/forward looking initiatives as a way to continue serving the community after we are no longer on Active Duty. I am currently serving my fellowship at Renaissance Jax. You can also find us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Renaissance Jax Inc. is a nonprofit founded to create FIRST Robotics teams in every school in Duval County and Northeast Florida.

FIRST stands for For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology.
