i'm tired of missing free shipping days and padding my uniqlo orders for the min purchase requirement only to return stuff the day of arrival because while i need the coat as a cold weather newbie i also need that extra money back

this thread is probably very ~privileged~ but if anyone wants to talk with me about cool sales and share any current free shipping deals thatd be great

also i couldn't wait for today's direct deposit to be processed because the uniqlo sale items are disappearing fast af today (thick knit socks for 1.90 yessss) so i was willfully dumb and now i have 6.34 in checking after that and a week of christmas-related expenses

Spoiler: so this was my one Big Christmas Purchase because after 3 years i still didn't have any actually warm coats

and it arrived today and it's down and in a tealish color and wow so warm so cuddly

I hate free shipping requirements. As silly as it is, it's like a challenge to spend $20 to have stuff shipped for free rather than to pay the $5.99 it'd take to ship just the one thing. Challenge accepted. :(

honestly the only things i buy from them are ridiculously marked down. the sale section is my go-to. never buy a thing full-prove because everything eventually gets down there somehow

also for further reference with the uniqlo thing i got my coat as a part of some last-stock color+size sale for $50, down from 100 and 150 before and for pricing across competitors that's a really good price for a really freaking good warm down coat @_@

Yeah I mostly use it for buying watches in which case it works out as a fairly good deal but it sucks that they can't just post an order to you all at once for a cheaper cost than posting it all separate
