Chromium is open-source if you'd prefer that. Google Chrome uses the same source code with some additions.

Alternatively, if you really want to be extreme about things, use a sandbox to log in with separate browser instances.

I just remember when I loaded it up it pestered me to log into a google account, which reads to me as: "LET ME SEE EVERYTHING YOU LOOK AT, KTHX!!!!". Also, fuck google, so I don't want to use their products if I don't have to. I do use their search engine just cause it's the best. I use youtube because you have to. I use bing for videos though because it actually is miles better than google for some reason.
