We're still 100% going to meet tomorrow for games at Uncles, we might be a little later than 5 so if we're not there and you get there, we'll be there!

Other than that, I'd like to kick something off for the Mage game and people who are interested either this or next Sunday. I'll look for good locations, but I'm thinking Mox Boarding House? http://www.moxboardinghouse.com/about-us/

We (Penguin and I) are staying in Seattle a single night in September (Sept. 10th, land, stay the night, leave early in the morning) where we will totally EXPECT to have a bunch of WA scummers join us wherever we end up for dinner. And by "wherever we end up for dinner" I mean F. X. McRory's near King Street Station.

^ by which he means we'd love to see anyone who can spare the time to drop in for dinner. We take the train out to Vancouver very early the next morning, but our flight gets in around 4:30 that Saturday.

I will concur that the above-mentioned steakhouse sounds darn awesome.

D'oh!
Today woulda been a good day to have gone down, if I had thought about it before today. (My dad, and brother, are down in Oregon.)

If the Mage game is happening, like I said, give me final word (as "yes this is really a thing which is really happening"), time, and final location and I can be there.

Also, food with scummers is obviously appetizing, but I'm out of place at a fancy restaurant. My fancy is Denny's. When they start using names that I don't recognize for the food, I end up with the most blank, lifeless face on me as I just kinda...stare.

So I think our longer term plan is to vaguely alternate ish between board games and another thing we sometimes do on friday, and it's the other thing tobight. You guys have fun

Why, goddammit, why?!?

I can't. I'll be stuck in work.
I can get out of one or two staff meetings per year, but I already missed one dealing with the death of my grandmother (understandable), and they do ask for reasons and it'd be, "...because I want to meet with internet friends instead?" (not as understandable). Also, that was literally last one, so missing two in a row, not exactly professional.

...For what it's worth, there's also a square dance event that day I'm missing. (I think maybe a flash-mob?)

September 10th will see me there. I'm going to be short one LLD, but I'll have Hebi.

Plus if we're up for board gaming, Uptown Espresso and Gameporium is open until midnight and we can just move there, it's a pretty short drive.

Such a shame. Troll lives so close to the Gameporium, but Troll be having friends over to play Cthulhu Wars that evening and no would be able to jet on over. Troll should probably follow this thread more closely though.
