Uh no, not really

The guy "giving it order" who the coup was literally against

Let's face it, if a country is in such a bad state that a military coup is needed, it is
not
a stable country.

Turkey's High Education Board on Tuesday ordered the resignation of 1,577 deans at all universities, state broadcaster TRT reported, part of a wide-ranging purge of dozens of state institutions following a failed coup attempt.
First they came for the generals and then for the judges, they've worked their way down to deans now. I'm curious to see who's next on the (sadly literal in some cases) chopping block.

Honest question - when has assassinating a world leader changed things for the better?
I honestly can't think of any off the top of my head, but Erdogan still needs to fucking die.

Fuck Erdogan supporting ISIS movement across the Turkish/Syrian border.

Fuck Turkish support of Azerbaijan.

Fuck Turkey massacring Kurds and not recognizing their right to self-determination.

Fuck Turkey adamantly denying that they genocided my ancestors.

It's a shitty state that needs to be replaced with one that is less shitty.

This will just lead to more hatred and anger. Let's calm down and discuss a reasonable solution to the problem rather than one motivated by hate.

Doesn't this imply that people here on the Internets have any means of implementing any reasonable solution?

No, it's beneficial for us to discuss the correct solution because it improves our critical thinking skills and allows us to compare the actual actions made to our proposed solution and thus judge the competence of the government. It is also very fun.

Turkey is now a great place for people into Medieval cosplay.
Paraphrasing a role PM takes seconds, fabricating a good fakeclaim takes an eternity.

Your post seems to imply that you find my posts idiotic - can you explain why?

Accountant, it is all fine and dandy to brandish your extreme views on morality and obedience on the theoretical "law" thread. But here we are talking about real people who are suffering under a real world power grab of immense scale. I'd suggest that you show more compassion or lurk more if you can't. I would specially advise against calling the current situation "fun".

Going back to the topic at hand, it seems that since the "coup" ended, Edorgan has:

Spoiler: reported arrests/dismissals since coup
300 Energy Ministry employees dismissed
184 Customs Ministry employees dismissed
8 top-level parliamentary executives removed
All Turks require extra documentation to travel outside country
86 Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK) employees dismissed
51 Borsa Istanbul (national stock exchange) employees dismissed
245 Sports Ministry personnel suspended
All Turkish academics banned from traveling abroad
140 members of the Supreme Court and 48 members of the Council of State (the highest court) got arrest warrants 4 days ago, no info on releases etc.
15,200 Ministry of Education personnel fired
24 news/media outlets broadcast licenses withdrawn
492 state religious personnel (Diyanet) removed
21,000 private teachers licenses revoked
393 personnel in Ministry of Family and Social Policy dismissed
257 personnel at PM's office dismissed & ID's seized
Demand for all 1,577 University Deans resignation
30 governors of 99 fired
9000 in Interior Ministry fired
180 intelligence officials (MIT, Turkey's national intelligence agency) suspended
2,745 judges dismissed
3,000,000 civil servants banned from going on holiday
Talks of reinstating the death penalty
1,500 Finance Ministry officials suspended
103 generals/admirals detained for questioning

This is a crazy number, specially when you take into account that it all happened in a week. I have no words.

I never called the current situation fun. Please re-read what I said. This has nothing to do with morality and obedience.
