It's skitter's turn now

My turn is over.

Can we institute a simple rule like no guessing to win until turn 7 or 8? Just auto-end turns unless someone wants to take a stab at it.

Roll the die, move up to that many squares. If you can make it to a room, you can make a guess. We go around the table, and the first person who has a card in your guess shows it to you. When you think you’ve figured out the suspect, room, and weapon, make an official accusation at the end of your turn.

Full rules are linked in the OP.

That said, you're one step outside the ballroom, so if you just want to go in there and make a guess, any roll would do. You'd need a 6 to make it to the Kitchen.

On most turns you're just making an investigative guess. Only when you think you've narrowed it down to the hidden answer do you make a final accusation.

That's fair

The room was my Achilles heel this game. I had presumptive positives on Plum and Revolver ages ago, but the process of elimination on the rooms was prohibitive. No one guessed Hall at all (though now as I look back at my spreadsheet, I'd eliminated everything from Mena's column except Peacock and Hall, should have had that) and not the Kitchen until Nancy at the end. I couldn't positively eliminate Study either.

I sat there analyzing the spreadsheet for twenty minutes before passing, but couldn't justify a YOLO guess. Pity. If I had noticed the Hall connection, I'd have had a 50/50 shot, and Kitchen was a tighter guess.

Damn. Good game.

This might be better as a live game.
