I have a few card tricks that I'm pretty good at, and I know a couple different ways to reveal "your card" so it looks like I know more tricks than I do. I also can do the magic trick where I make it look like one of my fingers is jumping off of my hand onto the other hand. I do the latter trick all the goddamn time and the card tricks occasionally but only when I have a new audience.
I assume you're asking how I do the orange one, and that actually isn't my trick. A magician came to my college and a friend was chosen to come on-stage. The magician asked him for a dollar but he didn't have one, so I ran up to the stage and gave him one. He signed the dollar, the dollar got destroyed, and the pieces of the dollar were revealed to be in an orange. Afterwards the magicians gave me another orange and told me there was a replacement dollar inside, which there was.

It was the border between France and The Kingdom of the Netherlands. We crossed it because we wanted to see beaches on both sides of the border but had to get back to our hotel on the Dutch side.

For the arrow thing, I took an arrow, put the point right on my throat, and then braced the other end against a wall so the arrow was held up by the wall and my throat. Then I slowly took a step forward and the arrow snapped in two before the point actually punctured my throat.
It was an "overcome your fears!" thing a motivational speaker had us do.

Interesting. For once there aren't any that I 100% know for sure, although I swear I've heard at least one of these stories before. Give me a moment while I decide how I want to split them.

Ugh, this is tough. Both the remaining players are no stranger to international travel and both live in areas where I can see a day trip to another country make sense. I could Double-Dip but I want to save that for the other side.
I can't shake the feeling I've heard the pet food story before and I guess
Also, traveling abroad is a big deal for me; I actually have never travelled anywhere outside my country
But I have booked a round ticket to Japan in July to attend my favorite singer's live concert and planned to just go home after the event finished. Sounds weird, isn't it? But I don't have that much money to travel around for many days so I just do my priority first. Next time I'll do a proper one.
I thought you traveled last summer and were almost able to make Survivormeet because of it.

Ugh. "A place in the Adirondacks" is so vague. The story seems to have it die right before the driveway, though. Albuquerque is too far away from El Paso. Vash's Facebook in this era doesn't mention a girlfriend but he does have a friend who went to Brown. Again, though, the driving distance doesn't quite work.

Eh, in that case you didn't drive a 3.5-hour drive, you drove 3.5 hours of a 4.5 hour drive. Not buying it.
Alright. I don't think N made the drive. I have seen N's refrigerator and it is fancy. Do I buy that he would have a fancy refrigerator and an old-ass microwave?
Vash said he "still doesn't know what to do with" the Hannity book. He just moved to a new state, though, and I imagine he wouldn't have taken the book with him. I have seen his oven and it's not that old.
I have seen Something_Smart's dishwasher and I know that okay fine I haven't seen his dishwasher but I wanted to keep the theme going.

I am actually not allowed to get into specifics, but the short version is they tried to claim that the membership contract required all disputes to be resolved through arbitration, a state law preempted arbitration clauses for the issue in question, and they settled for a small but legally unspecified amount.

Basically the steps were the same as the correct way but I'd have the starting knot tied in the same direction as the finishing bow, which makes the knot a granny knot instead of a bow knot and it becomes undone a lot more easily.

My mom accidentally shut the bathroom door and trapped her in there for most of the day. When we opened the door she had unraveled the entire roll of toilet paper and basically made a shredded mess of things. Her official name became "Tabitha Pearl Tomlinson" because that allowed us to call her "T.P.".

I was in Dresden with my parents. My mom is into pottery, and there's a nearby town called Meissen that is famous for their porcelain she wanted to see. I noped out of that excursion and just rode the streetcar all over the city. Eventually I found a random museum, which turned out to be the Museum of Hygiene. That's the official translation and it implies stuff like toothbrushes and whatnot but in actuality it was more about science/biology.
