The Curse of Rata Mall - Basement

Image
Room Map

Present:

Talitha
is Yvonne Skeggs: Female, Teenager Lanky, medium height, tattooed arms. Wearing Chainmail and a hardhat

Description

There are two generators here, both are running. They are on the south wall, raised up off the ground on a platform. You have to climb the stairs to get to them.

Running around the South and West walls is a pipe with 3 valves. It's unclear if they are on or off, or even important. They all appear rusted. There are a number of other pipes around the walls
There is a wooden cupboard on the north wall, and next to that are more pipes, and a lever.

The ceiling in here is cracked and damaged. There even appears to be blood on both the roof and floor. Something happened in here.

There is a switchboard next to the steps.

You have the walkie talkie - sorry - Ariel never responded, so I left it as unresolved.

The cupboard has a wrench in it.
The mirror has been shattered.
The switchboard is running. Someone appears to have got this working in a previous phase.

The pipes look like they carry gas. The wrench would fit them well

The eatery is quiet and silent. You cant really see into it from here, but hearing nothing is good enough right?

The arm appears to be old, and dried, much like the blood. Could be years old.

The strobe light is off.

There is nothing beyond the mirror.

The hole goes through a layer of plaster, dirt, then asphalt. You appear to be under a road. There is something metallic covering the hole

The hole is what it is, you wont see much more. Theres soemthing blocking it, otherwise you could see the sky through it Its not that much more than an arms width. It looks like the arm on the floor came through it.

You hear tapping from the north wall, almost as if someone is behind it.

You can reach the hole from the ground. Its about an arm width wide. If you have anything to dig it with, start digging :)

Theres a mop handle under the stairs (You didnt look under there). You might be able to get and try getting through it. The ceiling is reachable by hand.

The hole gets wider, the more you work at it. Eventually theres a nice little pile of dirt you can stand on and climb out.
