There are two powerful forces in the universe: Technology and the Lances. The Lances are magical sentient spears, which has the power to ruin any game. The technological forces of Technology harness the power of the Tech Tree to do wondrous miracles, like looking into a being's files to check his or her alignment, electrocuting a being, disguising him/herself as another being, tracking another being by means of his internet usage, and/or inputing data for the main computer, TeChNoWC, to determine who to vaporize.

The two forces were very much at war, with the Lances assassinating the Technological Beings, and the Technological Beings exterminating the Lances. The war is long and bloody, with a lot of incursions and assassinations. Numerous troops continuously destroy each other by wondrous and terrifying methods. The Lances continuously ruin technological formations and the Technological forces continuously policy lynch the Lances. Many reformations of organizations were made due to the Lances impaling a Technological leader. It was very bad times.

Soon, after nine billion, seven hundred and sixty-three million, four hundred and eighty-two thousand, and three hundred and sixty-seven deaths from both sides, there left only a few lucky beings from both sides: three lances, who seek to eliminate the Technological forces, one sneaky program who can appear invisible if hiding behind another Technological being, one Technological being which can choose between being a Lance exterminator or a spy on the first night, one being, who nobody knows whether he/she is an analytical psychologist or detective, and of course, the main computer, TeChNoWC.

There are lots of orchards now, and the elves grow other important trees for various purposes. The orchards are currently stuck with the products from the old tree raws (chestnuts, mangos and coconuts), but that should be diversified significantly. The residential etc. trees aren't strictly natural, so you'll get some places that are flatter and smoother grown into them, but even those trees still use the standard tree growing algorithm and there's plenty of regular vegetation to go around. We should finally be on to non-player dwarf fortresses at the beginning of next month. I thought I'd be to them by now but having climbing and jumping works well enough as a consolation prize. I doubt I'll be any better at predicting how long dwarf sites will take, since there's a lot of pre-existing material to work with.
