If we're going to be putting our virtual lives on the line shouldn't we be allowed to choose the options?

Not Created Equally, Hidden Potential and Results Driven sound good, but what do the other (non-bugged) ones do?

Okay, I agree with your assessment.
I'd play with Absolutely Critical myself, but since since you will be in full control when it applies it's probably better to let you decide that.

Name: Inspiratieloos
Gender: Male
Race: White or Hispanic (preferably white)
Hair: Black
Facial Hair: Light beard
Armour tint: Maroon (dark red)
Why me: Intelligent, fast, great reflexes, decent aim (sure to improve with practice) and, most importantly, ridiculously lucky.

Ah of course, now I see, I just thought I saw a bit of green peeking through a rip in your skin.

SCIENCE! *cough* *cough* Ahem, shall we go to St. Petersburg?

Does panic reduce naturally over time or are there any other ways to reduce panic?
Also: I vote for continuing the project we started, no sense in having two half finished projects lying around.

I've got two characters that I still remember by name from my own games (one from UFO Defense, one from Apocalypse).

Vote Weapon Fragments... again.

Edit: Btw I must say I've never seen someone turn my screen name into 'Imp' before. Insp is probably the most common used though.

Beam weapons.

I'd say keep the satellite in reserve for now, we could need it in Germany, Russia, Canada or Mexico within one mission if we're unlucky (if I understand everything correctly).

I guess I'll move up someone with a better LCK stat

Name: Helga Vogel
Gender: Female
Race: Black
Hair: Black, not very long.
Armour tint: (Disruptor) blue
Why you should hire her: Has the proven ability to hold a facility against an Apocalypse battleship worth of invasion forces on her own, armed with 'just' two toxiguns, a lot of toxin B clips and two personal shields (the dozen looted and burned trough during the fight don't count).

Politically I'd say UK to prevent panic in France, but the extra engineers from Mexico are probably better for a reward and can then be used to put a satellite there... I think.

Name: Gerard Odryfus or something like that
Gender: Male
Hair: Brown, short cropped.
Skin: White
Facial hair: None

Why to hire: First Rookie out of the skyranger in '99, Commander that personally took out the brain in '01  Dates are from vague recollections from playing 2 years ago

Good memories :)
(psi training by putting Mutons in front of a firing squad.)

Did I mention already that Odryfus had a psi-score of 98 in my game?

Wraith: You tell them that interrogations are
not
a goddamn show. I don't care if these buggers wiped their hometown of Buenos Aries off the map or some shit like that, the suffering of another sentient being - however necessary - is
not
entertainment by any stretch of the word.

Other sources disagree:
‘Chryssalids’ the Sergeant explained, ‘be grateful you’ve never met one, I had to shoot a mate who got impregnated with an incendiary round before he turned into one himself’ he said. ‘Runs at better than forty miles an hour, claws that’ll rip through a HWP and they always look like they’re grinning’ he continued. ‘Makes your skin crawl it does.
We only ever got one of them alive, they played the tape of the science team cutting it up when it was still breathing to us in the mess hall later that week, we were cheering, swear to god’
he said raising his right hand.

This is X-COM, hate for the xenos is mandatory. Did you know that X-COM canon is that the Geneva Convention does not apply to extraterrestrials?

Also, go India. And put Odryfus in psi testing if possible, she's still using an LMG right?

On the one hand, these are the people that thought it was a good idea to send us against aliens in 4-6 man squads. On the other hand not destroying the aliens would be kind of counter-productive.
Destroy the continent the MIB are on.

Edit: better idea: Destroy the Gulf of Mexico.
