Current Question
Spoiler: Q9
Flags
Which countries flag is this?
A. Kiribati
B. East Timor
C. St. Kitts & Nevis
D. Cyprus
Goal O' Da Game
Be the last man standing by having the most cash after each round!
How It Works
There will be 8 players and one player called 'The Brain'.
The 8 players
will be split up randomly into 2 teams of 4. There will be a series of 3 questions. For each question answered correctly, that player will earn the question's value (so for the first question (worth $100) if they get it correct they earn $100). However if they get a question incorrect, the player will
lose
the value of that question (so for the same question, the player would lose the $100). After the three questions, the player's total cash will be added together with their team mates. Whichever team has more cash moves on to the next round.
The now 4 players
will be split up into 2 teams of 2. The players keep whatever cash they individually earned for the last series (so if player A earned a total of $300, they start this next round with $300).
This is not the same as the team's total cash
(So if a team earned $1000 in the previous round, this does not mean each player starts with $1000, they would start with whatever they earned.). The teams are split up so the player who earned the most cash is paired with the player who earned the least.
Example
Bob earns $100
Sally earns -$500
Thomas earns $0
Mark earns $700
The team total is $300
So Mark would be paired with Sally and Bob with Thomas for the 2nd series.
These 2 teams then play a second series of three questions. The team that has the most cash after that moves on to the final series.
The final 2 players
will square off with three questions and the player who has the most cash after those will move on to the bonus question. Like before, they keep their cash from the previous rounds.
The last player standing
gets to answer the final question for a bonus $25,000 with no penalty if they guess wrong!
NO COMMUNICATING WITH TEAM MATES OR SEARCHING ANSWERS ONLINE
Lifelines
Each player will get three lifelines to use throughout the game. You can only use each one once and you cannot use it for the $25,000 question. To use a lifeline, PM me that you would like to use it with your submission.
Freezer Burn
-You only lose half your cash on this question if you are wrong. However, if you are right you only gain half the amount. (For a $200 question you can only earn or lose $100)
Re-Rack
-You may choose two answers instead of one.
Trust the Brain
-Your answer is locked in with whatever the brain has chosen.
The Brain
The brain is just the person for the lifeline. They will answer each question and if someone uses the
Trust the Brain
lifeline they will be locked in with his/her answer. I will keep track of their cash too. After one player remains, if the brain has more cash than the player, the brain will play for the $25,000.
Topics
Players will also get to choose topics from a list and assign them to dollar values. Order will be randomly chosen.
Example:
Bob chooses the topic Programming for $10000
Sally then chooses the topic Ancient Rome for $100
ect.
Topic List
Disney
Philosophy
Flags
Acronyms
Medieval Times
League of Legends
Religion
Child Games
College Football
Internet Slang
Chemistry
Mathematics
Ancient Rome
Prime Ministers
Money
Space
Submissions
Answers must be PMed within 48 hours of question being posted. If a player fails to do so they will automatically get the question wrong and get a strike. If a player gets 2 strikes they are automatically eliminated. If they are on a team, the team will get additional cash based on the average cash earned per question (so if 3 players are left on a team and one player gets $100, another gets -$100, and the other gets $100, they will earn an additional $200/3 for that round)
Ca$h Ladder
Series 1 (8 players)

$4000
Series 3 (2 players)

I don't know...maybe an additional series of questions for the brain versus the winning player before the 25k question?
hmm...that might work...then I'll make the third series of questions more valuable if I do...

It was brought to my attention that this last question had some sketchy facts so we're gonna redo that one after this question. If you used any lifelines, you get them back. This question is still worth $4000
