"Shadow Hunters" is a survival board game where three groups of characters, "Shadows", "Hunters" and "Civilians" struggle against each other to survive. The "Shadows" are the dwellers of the demon world who want to either kill all "Hunters" OR kill three "Neutrals". The "Hunters" goal is to destroy all "Shadow" group members. "Neutrals" have their own independent wincon, and win a neutral achieves their wincon
the game ends
. Each player assumes one character from one of these groups, but the other players will not know your identity. Determine who is your ally and defeat your enemies!
01. Movement
Roll a D4 & a D6. Add the results together, and move to the location that matches the number:
Rolling a 7 let you choose where to go. If you roll the number of the location you are in, you must re-roll.
02. Action
The mod will either reveal your card publicly (white & black) or PM your card privately (hermit). If you receive a
single-use card
from the white or black deck, you must use it
immediately
. If you receive an
equipment card
from the white or black deck, you just place it in your inventory and continue. If you receive a
hermit card
, you will receive it via PM, and choose who you want to send it to.
03. Attacking
At the end of your turn, you may attack someone in your area. Do so by rolling the two dice and subtracting the higher result from the smaller result. If you roll the same amount on both dice, your attack fails. When a characters damage meter matches their HP, they die and are immediately revealed.

The Characters
Each player is given a role from this list. Two characters with the same starting letter cannot both be in the setup (for example, both Emi and Ellen cannot be in the setup). In order to use your character's special ability, you must reveal yourself (except Unknown and Daniel):
Hunters
Emi (10 HP) -
Wincon: All shadows are dead
Special Ability: When you move, you can move to an adjacent location instead of rolling the dice (Ex: if you are in the second location of Area 2, you can go to the first location of Area 2 or the first location of Area 3)
Ellen (10 HP) -
Wincon: All shadows are dead
Special Ability: (Chain of the Forbidden Curse) At the start of your turn, choose a character and void his/her special ability for the rest of the game. Once per game.
Franklin (12 HP) -
Wincon: All shadows are dead
Special Ability: Once in the game, you may inflict damage to a player equal to the roll of a 6-sided die
Fuka (12 HP) -
Wincon: All shadows are dead
Special Ability: (Dynamite Nurse) At the start of your next turn, set the damage of any character to 7. Once per game.
Gregor (14 HP) -
Wincon: All shadows are dead
Special Ability: (Ghostly Barrier) Can only be used when your turn is over. You cannot receive any damage until the start of your turn. Once Per game.
George (14 HP) -
Wincon: All shadows are dead
Special Ability: Special Ability: Once in the game, you may inflict damage to a player equal to the roll of a 4-sided die
Neutrals
Allie (8 HP)-
Wincon: You are not dead
Special Ability: Once per game, you may fully heal your damage
Agnes (8 HP) - Win Condition: The player on the immediate right wins.
Special Ability: (Capriccio) Can only be used at the start of your turn. Changes your win condition to “The Player to your immediate left wins.”
Bryan (10 HP) -
Wincon: Your attack kills a character whose HP is 13 or more OR you are on Erstwhile Altar when the game ends.
Special Ability: (MYGOD!!!) If your attack kills a character whose HP is 12 or less, you must reveal your identity.
Bob (10 HP) -
Wincon: You possess more than 5 equipment cards
Special Ability: If you inflict 2 or more points of damage, you may instead steal an equipment card from your victim
Charles (11 HP) -
Wincon: At the time you kill a character, the amount of dead character is 3 or more
Special Ability: After attacking, you may inflict 2 points of damage to yourself to attack again
Catherine (11 HP) -
Wincon: You die first OR you are one of the last two characters remaining
Special ability: (Stigmata) Heal 1 point of your own damage at the start of your turn.
Daniel (13 HP) -
Wincon: You are the first to die OR all shadows are dead and you are not
Special Ability: As soon as another character dies, you must reveal your identity
David (13 HP) -
Wincon: You have 3 or more of the following: “Talisman,” “Spear of Longinus,” “Holy RObe,” “Silver Rosary.”
Special Ability: (Grave Digger) You may take one equipment card of your choice from any discard pile. Only once per game.
Shadows
Unknown (11 HP)
Wincon: All hunters are dead OR 3 neutrals are dead
Special Ability: When given an hermit card, you may lie (you do not have to reveal yourself to use this)
Ultrasoul (11 HP)
Wincon: All the hunters are dead OR 3 neutral characters are dead
Special ability: (Murder Ray) At the start of your turn, you can give 3 points of damage to one character who is at “Underworld Gate.”
Vampire (13 HP)
Wincon: All hunters are dead OR 3 neutrals are dead
Special Ability: If you attack a player and inflict damage, yo4u may heal 2 points of your own damage
Valkerie (13 HP)
Wincon: All hunters are dead OR 3 neutrals re dead.
Special ability: (Horn of War Outbreak) When you attack, you only roll the 4-sided die and inflict the amount of damage rolled.
Werewolf (14 HP)
Wincon: All hunters are dead OR 3 neutrals are dead
Special Ability: After being attacked by a character, you may immediately attack back that character
Wight (14 HP)
Wincon: All the hunters are dead OR 3 neutrals are dead
Special ability: (Multiplication) When your turn is over, you may take an additional number of turns equal to the amount of dead characters. Once per game.

Depending on the amount of players we get, setup will be as follows:
4 players: 2H-2S
5 players: 2H-1N-2S
6 players: 2H-2N-2S
7 players: 2H-3N-2S (Bob cannot appear)
8 players: 3H-3N-3S minus one chosen at random (Bob cannot appear)

Hermit card is on the way, STD!!
Hey, by the way, hermit responses work with Unknown even though I'm responding immediately. Unknown, if he/she is in the game, will give me instructions on how to respond... such as, "I want to appear to be a hunter" or "I want to appear to be a neutral" or "I want to take no damage", etc.
