In. Yes to first house rule, flat-out wouldn't play a game with fleet board AND cylon attack crises, that'd be insane. Prefer fleet board to cylon attack crises.
Also would prefer a gentleman's agreement not to pick Cain unless we variant the shit out of her OPG
EDIT: Misread your wording as a possible house rule of both Fleet Board & CACs. Yes to the Fleet Board, please, but I don't mind a great deal either way.

Confirm! Drawing only two as a Cylon Leader, so I'll take
one
Politics
and one
Engineering
.
You'll be pleased to know that God's plan doesn't yet involve your gruesome demise. With that in mind, I might recommend finding a way to get Kara out into space before the start of her turn. It's her destiny, after all.

Setting up for an attack on the basestar seems like common sense to me, regardless of the artificiality of those proposing it. Having somebody on Pegasus is a bonus.

I want the same thing I've always wanted - for you to understand your destiny. Accept that you will lose Hera and spare yourselves the heartbreak of trial and failure. I have seen it.
I'm pretty much going to balls-out roleplay this as heavily as possible, for both secrecy-rules and fun purposes. If that becomes a problem for anyone, please let me know.

The Admiral understands. With so far to go until Earth, easier to recover from the setback you choose yourself than the disaster you risk.
But if you must defy your destiny, I won't stand in your way. Of course, that means I won't stand in the way of my brothers and sisters, either ... don't say I didn't warn you.

"Hot Dog", is it? Yes, even you, it seems, have a role to play in the grand cosmic pattern of what is to come and what has already been. Specifically, the role of 'man in background'. Your quaint Demetrius looks understaffed.

With Earth in play and distance required before winning jump up to 10, you'll likely need to use the Demetrius to go searching for one of the Missions which grant extra distance (though there are some very useful ones that don't give distance too). Missions usually have high-ish skill check difficulty but can't be affected by cards with Skill Check abilities or interrupts, and you can attempt a maximum of one per jump cycle. Ideally you'd like to activate Tactical Plot (to scout the Mission deck), then Captain's Cabin (to give everyone cards that are positive for the check), then Bridge (to attempt the top Mission), but steps can be skipped as and when required.

In not-relevant-right-now-but-it's-Starbuck's-turn-at-least news, I recommend launching in an assault raptor next time so as to stay in space between jumps. It's Starbuck's best friend. I have absolutely no way to convey that through RP; I humbly apologise.

The most recent official FAQ ruling is that basestars repair damage when they're moved from the main board to the fleet board during a jump, so unless you can destroy the basestar before we autojump (i.e. spend your last nuke on probably doing that), it seems like a waste.

How often do you deploy nuclear weapons, anyway? But you know you have to reach Earth... I think your engineer is leaning rather too heavily on my metallic origins in her continuing campaign to waste all of your time.

A rash decision, Mr President. With the Final Five concealed somewhere in your fleet, you might regret poking around blindly without consulting your peers beforehand.
In any case, Kara and I were already in the business of looking into the Admiral's loyalties. This is a waste of your resources.

I'm going to tell you something important, Kara...
Spoiler:
Either your president is a liar or you have two Cylons on board. I could tell you which of the two is likelier, but I think you'll find out soon enough...

An interesting decision for you here, Mr President. The fleet is preparing to leave this sector behind so you might not need to worry about a purposeless attack on my kin ... but there are five raider squadrons bearing down on Galactica. Do you feel lucky?

I definitely agree that people should make a habit of asking for a pause for stratplans but there can also be situations in which, say, Prozac might not care to play one but somebody still could if we were all playing this face to face.

I have no doubt that you could do this if you put your minds to it but not all Cylons are as friendly as I and your pilot seems to think that you will have need of your political acumen in the near future. I'm willing to make a sacrifice for you if you ask it of me ... but I'm open to suggestions.

If your engineer asked you to spend resources - including your clearly important political capital - on something that she could do herself at minimal cost, I would refuse to help on principle.

I've been reading up on your chain of command here in your cosy CIC, and I note the following:
If you remove Adama, the Admiralty passes to Starbuck (who is not one of the group of two which contains a guaranteed Cylon and has shown no signs of malice as she pursues her destiny).
If you call the lawyer's bluff and you do so in error, the Admiralty stays with a man you know to be a Cylon. Does that seem right to you?
Of course, the problem is that Cally is a Cylon and doesn't want to kill one of her own. I looked into the eyes of God, and He showed me the truth.

As they say, Mr Adama, all of this has happened before and all of it will happen again.
Pass on interrupts.
I think that you should save your strength for the mission to come but I hope that I can trust you to let me out of sickbay. I have an appointment with destiny that it would be a shame to miss...

The only acceptable play would have been Guts and Initiative as an interrupt. I should have thought to ask. I worry about destiny if you attempt a mission on Hot Dog's turn (which you probably should anyway, with hands this large).
