Looks like Piloting's our weak point in terms of skill draws, so I'll take Kara "Starbuck" Thrace.

1x

I'd normally say it'd be an easy choice to go for the raiders but I'd effectively be a sitting duck for every raider activation until my next turn, so I think I'm going to launch myself in a viper to port-quarter space, then use the bonus action from the hanger bay to move to aft space and use the second XO action to escort a civvie. By the time my turn rolls around the raiders will probably be closer and I'll have more cards to wipe them off the board with.

Right, sorry, that helpfully isn't mentioned in the rulebooks. Let's just
move the viper in port-quarter space to aft space
. I'm thinking we'll probably get a jump before anything particularly troublesome shows up, so let's see if we can knock out the raiders and hopefully the basestar before then.

We don't have any destroyed raptors, and it's the start of the game so being able to save up a few skill cards would be kind of nice. I'd think go for the die, +SP if someone's got it.

I wouldn't mind going for the check, there's plenty of morale crises later for CDB to have his fun with and it shouldn't exactly be difficult to pass. I'm pretty happy to not burn our resources quite yet, especially now that we're actually picking up some cards.

It's DC10 and the two who have drawn cards have a load of Leadership and Politics, and most everyone else at least has one. I'd say risk is fairly minimal at present, unless we start being flooded with skill checks.
Morale's going to drop as the game progresses anyway (we can't win them
all
), so I don't think it's going to be too much of a bother for you.
Oh, and

That would be enough to clear the sector~
Action 2: Activate CAG to get a free unmanned action to escort the civvie off now that the coast is clear, and gain an additional action
Action 3: Uhhhh not really much I can do in this corner of space and there'll almost certainly be a jump before my turn rolls around again, CDB already scouted destinations (but do we trust him?), should I just pass?

I think I have to agree with our toaster here. Our situation isn't really critical enough right now to warrant using what is currently our last nuke, and Lambda spending her entire turn to draw an enginnering card doesn't exactly incline me to write a glowing review in regards to her conduct. Working on Demetrius for now is a decent plan, especially if it will allow us to fill our hands.

Oh, unrelated but
@Sudo: Given that you're clearly taking screenshots from the VASSAL module, can you label our character tokens with our names (the option comes up if you right-click a token)? Being able to easily tell who's who at a glance from the images would be nice.

21 is a lot, and that fail effect is not very fun at all with the CFB hanging around. I would
much
rather take the die roll here and clean up the potential damage later than burn all our cards which we sorely need for missions (not to mention everything else).

Obvious choice would be to
get in the assault raptor launching to port-quarter, CAG to launch an unmanned viper (why don't we have MkVIIs yet) into port-bow, and escort off the civvie.

We so do not want to blow fuel right now, but going to sickbay right after I launched is annoying too. I feel like we have to take another morale hit on this one, and then place the inevitable civvies in port-bow and port-quarter.

To be fair he's right on that one, I searched for "toaster price" and the cheapest one I could see was $45. Still, they're shooting at us (how original of them), so they've simply got to go. To that end, could I maaaaaaaybe get XO'd out of Sickbay at some point?

Escape the sickbay and get out in an assault raptor for realsies this time by launching into port-bow. Then CAG to push an unmanned viper out to port-bow with me, then
MAXIMUM FIREPOWER (PIL 3)
four of the raiders into itty bitty space dust.

I would kinda prefer not to use the last nuke this soon. On the other hand, food is down to 5 already and our distance is only at 2. I'm... this choice sucks. I'm a little tempted to OPG it?

For movement, stay where, I am.
For my first action, play
Maximum Firepower (PIL 3)
to go wreck some raiders.
Original Roll String: 4d8
4 8-Sided Dice: (5, 7, 1, 8) = 21

For my second action, CAG the unmanned viper here to pop a raider too.

3/5 ain't bad, I'm satisfied with that.
For my CAG bonus action, play
Combat Veteran (PIL 3)
to launch an unmanned viper to port-quarter space, then move it to aft and escort a civvie.

Hey LLD, you're our engineer, how long until you get some of those fancy new vipers out of the repair bay?

Five raiders out there is quite a few shots to dodge when we've just burned a lot of evasive maneuvers (not to mention the toaster over there's got the next turn), and I feel like it might just be easier to damage two by default.
There isn't enough time to train the rookies, for better or worse experience shall have to be their teacher. This is the destiny that has been chosen.
Damage the two vipers in reserve.

I might be slightly biased due to my role as pilot, but given our lack of anything to shoot down the bad guys with I'm going to have to play:
Ragnar Anchorage- Distance 1. The Admiral may repair up to 3 Vipers and 1 Raptor. These ships may be damaged or even destroyed.
Repair two Viper MkVIIs and the assault raptor (if I'm allowed to? otherwise just three MkVIIs) and also the destroyed raptor.

Unfortunately, I still have next to no skill cards to help with the check, and I'd probably want to be getting out into space ASAP to blast down some Cylons (or heck, still not averse to tossing a nuke at one of the basestars, I don't see this assault letting up any time soon any other way).

...WELP
I'll wait until I see the flip before making any judgement on that one, but that escalated very quickly. If Paladin's a Cylon the presidency will pass to Lambda, if not it'll obviously depend on what he picks. Either way StD stays in sickbay... our skill card situation is kind of really bleh. Really hoping Paladin flips toaster to save us all a lot of trouble, because I'm not liking the way things are looking if he's not (and to be honest, I'm not particularly confident with Lambda's argument as it stood)...

And I was ninja'd by the flip. Yay v_v
Discarding
Exploit a Weakness (TRE 5)
and
Personal Vices (TRE 3)
because get that rubbish out of here kthx.
Do we want to try shoving Lambda out the airlock immediately? I'm not liking our skill card situation even less if we do, but things aren't looking good if we keep her out either.

Lambda is the new president if you don't pick someone higher up in succession than her. If you can't remember, here's the full list (I just c/p'd it straight out of the rulebook):
Spoiler: Line of Presidential Succession
1 Laura Roslin
2 Gaius Baltar (Original Version, Political Leader)
3 Lee Adama (Alternate Version, Political Leader)
4 Tom Zarek (Original Version, Political Leader)
5 Romo Lampkin

7 Ellen Tigh*
8 Lee “Apollo” Adama (Original Version, Pilot)
9 Tom Zarek (Alternate Version, Military Leader)
10 Felix Gaeta†
11 William Adama
12 Karl “Helo” Agathon (Original Version, Military Leader)
13 “Chief” Galen Tyrol
14 Gaius Baltar (Alternate Version, Support)
15 Callandra “Cally” Tyrol†
<== Here's Lambda, pick someone higher than her

16 Sherman “Doc” Cottle
17 Helena Cain*
18 Anastasia “Dee” Dualla*
19 Louis Hoshi
20 Karl “Helo” Agathon (Alternate Version, Pilot)

Flipping as a Cylon takes an action, Paladin, so at this point she wouldn't be able to reveal until her next turn.
And this crisis is just ugh in so many ways. Tanking it really isn't an option, but passing it really isn't an option either. v_v

Demetrius is good. Getting us some skill cards is very good. Morale is very much not good. :/ I'd probably want to get out in the assault raptor on my turn (no need to let the raiders knock down our population, it'd be nice to use it on FTL to skip crises), thankfully the crippled basestar is keeping the rest of the Cylon fleet at bay for now. That would leave Paladin's turn to brig or airlock LLD, which will be much easier since we'll all actually have skill cards again at that point.

Obvious choice is obvious. Skill cards are critical right now. Food is not. Thank god the crisis went easy on us, we didn't even lose the civvie.

Play
Critical Situation (TAC 3)
to trade my movement for an extra action.

Movement Action:
Launch in the Assault Raptor to port-bow space, getting an extra action.

Launch Bonus Action:
Play
Best of the Best (PIL 6)
to shoot down the raiders. Feels like a bit of a waste, but I don't trust the Random Number Goddess to not get me shot down myself if I do it the normal way.

Original Roll String: 1d8
1 8-Sided Dice: (7) = 7

Actual Action Action:
Use CAG power to activate an unmanned Viper, launching a MkVII Viper into port-quarter space and getting an extra action.

CAG Bonus Action:
Escort the civvie off the board.

I largely agree with your suggestions. I would suggest that if the Cylon Fleet situation gets out of hand I would be better off using my actions to shoot them down rather than XOing, but as long as the crippled basestar is on the board that's not going to be an issue.

Oh hey, alright. I'll use this to clear out a bunch of civvies, because raiders pls no.
Action 1: Escort the civvie at my location.
Action 2: Tap CAG to get the unmanned viper to escort the civvie at its location and get an extra action.
CAG Bonus Action: Play Mutiny Card

Mutiny Card wrote:Scavenging For Parts - Action: Damage Galactica and, if possible, choose 1 civilian ship in a space area. Shuffle that ship back into the pile of unused civilian ships. Then discard this card.

Play:

Dogfight (PIL 0)
- Skill Check: The current player may damage 1 Viper in a space area or the reserve to remove 1 other card from this skill check.

I forget, isn't Investigative Committee supposed to reveal Destiny as well, or was that changed in one of the expansions?

...it's spelled JDGA. Other than that, I very much agree with what you're saying. With essentially three human players left, we need all the skill cards we can get (and if we can knock down an extra mission or two, that'd be great too). I can hopefully manage piloting well enough, and XOs on either of us are not a bad idea. Though, STD's the only one that regularly draws engineering, which definitely is going to be an issue. I'll be happy to switch to drawing engineering if necessary (should I draw engineering now maybe?) but that'll make me even less useful in skill checks. Other than that, can we
finally
get our jump?

As for our resources, food and population I'm not especially concerned about. Fuel is sitting on 6-for-6, which isn't the best but with some luck the destination deck will play nice and it won't be too much of an issue. And of course there's morale, which is... morale. I'll be a struggle to survive with 3 morale, and is the main reason why I'm nervous about switching my flex draw off of Leadership. Either way, I don't have much to do on my turn? I can try to shoot down the raiders if my skill draw plays nice, or (more likely) go after the crippled basestar and/or the civvie hanging out next to it. Landing probably isn't the best idea for me since assault raptor, two actions, etc. Opinions?

Movement: Play
Full Throttle (PIL 2)
: Movement or Action: If piloting a viper, you may move to any space area. You may then attack 1 Cylon ship in your area (even if you didn't move). Move to the aft, and take a cheap shot at a raider.
Original Roll String: 1d8
1 8-Sided Dice: (1) = 1

Action 1: Escort the civvie.
Action 2: CAG the unmanned viper to port-bow so we have at least a chance of shooting down that heavy raider when it jumps in. Wasting actions on Centurions is not my idea of a good time.
CAG Bonus Action: Play
Best of the Best (PIL 6)
to clear out the other raiders, and that should be the board as good as clear until we finally get our damn jump already.

Discard the following:
Declare Emergency (LEA 4)
Executive Order (LEA 1)
Launch Scout (TAC 1)
Launch Scout (TAC 1)
Quick Thinking (TAC 0)
Evasive Maneuvers (PIL 2)

Wouldn't mind a mission to offload the incoming TRE 0 before it gets me brigged, and possibly getting around to airlocking LLD since I'll most likely be able to pass it on my own with this.

It concerns me that LLD isn't having fun with the game, but right now there is almost no doubt that she's a Cylon other than that she hasn't revealed yet. I hope we can establish that no one's intentionally being mean to anyone else so that we can all enjoy playing again?

Getting the ship damaged isn't very helpful when we don't really have Engineering, but I guess jump progress helps at least a little. Might have been nicer to wait and see if anyone drew SP, but oh well.

The best part of course is when you gave me the perfect hand to pull this move off by giving me infinity TRE instead of executing me when you had the chance
God you have no idea how much I laughed when I saw that crisis
I know that with morale where it was there was no way you'd have the guts to send me to the resurrection ship :3
Oh, and just in case that wasn't enough StD then loaded everyone's hands up with TAC, even more perfect for me~

Seriously, before I was handed this opportunity I was just thinking I'd throw the nuke at blank space or at a couple of civvies or something and then flip
Maybe stick around long enough to sink a mission? I dunno, the point is that it was kinda boring saving you guys from raider hell while marvelling at how no one was suspecting me and wondering if it was worth revealing at all or just gradually sinking the fleet with crummy destinations
But hey, the way Lambda was going I wasn't sure I'd survive another round of turns with the alleged monster that is Paladin's quorum hand, so oh well~
(besides, I
really
didn't want to have to throw out all this glorious treachery)

I have to agree with the pretty much hosed part, it does feel like it's a little too easy a win, but the game's not over yet and maybe you guys can pull off something crazy.
Lambda deciding to take her shot was terrifying for me, especially since I'd just flipped at sleeper and was having trouble getting myself into the right mindset. I was really tempted to make the same argument Paladin did which got him shot, but in the end I decided to lurk my way out of it which thankfully worked and kiiiinda left you all in a very tough spot. Oh well, it's been more or less fun all the same~

Well I had other plans, but with my whole hand out...

I'm not
especially
fussed, but it was kind of bleh.
Though at this point I'd say with my hand and drawn mutiny card revealed it's kind of too late for that. Oh well?

With the humans able to play a maximum of two skill cards right now, a crisis sounds like fun!
Alternatively, letting me put down a civvie and damaging Galactica at the Basestar Bridge aren't bad ideas either, especially if we want to be nice to the Leader. Fuel/Food damage are always fun! (rolling for tracks seems kind of pointless when I can pick all the
fun
destinations and there's nothing in the pursuing fleet anyway)

Eh, we'll see. My reveal action is kind of boring, so why not force them to waste an action on me instead?

I still say it'd be easier to use the Basestar Bridge to place a civvie as well as guaranteeing damaging Galactica, but oh well.
