Actually, leave $100 off green and donate that to blue's campaign. So:

Buy 12 Green @ $51 for total of $612
Donate $100 to Blue
And I guess buy 1 White @ $35 for total of $35

So I have $3 left.

I'll attend both (especially the inauguration, since I'm VP). I could tell you I'll rule justly, but I'd be lying.

Actually, to prevent having to add in borrowing, we could just allow for mutually agreed upon and binding put/call orders. It's essentially the same thing, but you have to find another party to be the other side of the transaction. Now that I think of it, that's more of what I was interested in anyway.

Quoting as required:

I, Rob13, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States of Aronis against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God!!!!!!!!!

(I added exclamation marks because I'm that excited.)

Also, since I'm VP, I call for help and head to the safe room.

(Fixed it for you  )

As my first act as VP, I will lobby the president to give me some actual power. But after that fails, I'll lobby her to adopt new energy policies that include banning off-shore drilling, implementing a system of tradable emissions permits to reduce harmful emissions, and subsidizing the purchase of electric and hybrid cars.

We're going GREEN, baby!

I'm considering buying
Black
shares at $10 over the market price from other players, so long as they agree to buy them back at that same price within 3 days if I request it. Basically, you either do a zero-sum trade or make a free $10 per share with no risk. If anyone would be interested in this, please let me know.

There isn't exactly no risk to that, unless they were planning on holding the black stocks anyways :P

I know, I'm marketing towards people like Mist who plan to hold black for prolonged periods of time anyway.

Sell all green stock, buy all white stock possible given my total money.
Cancelling this order given Mist's announcement below.

Aww, hope your day gets better Aronis! Take your time.

FYI I repurchased my stocks in the Board thread. I was trying to time my sale/purchase to avoid any negative effects of the split (i.e. an instant price drop due to more shares outstanding), although there appears to have been none.

Semi-official announcement from the
Orange
Board of Directors:

Earlier today, the Orange Board of Directors voted to approve a change in corporate strategy to deliver unprecedented value to our shareholders. By accepting additional risk on a short-term basis, we hope to get the orange stock back on track to where we think it belongs. You can expect the orange stock to increase by a larger percentage than normal in the next update. Of course, this comes with additional risk. As a result, we heavily recommend that our shareholders insure all orange stocks that they own prior to the next price change.

Following a 1-day trial period on our new corporate strategy, our stock will automatically convert to an extremely low-risk and low-return investment while we evaluate the results and determine the proper path forward for the company.

Thank you for your continued investment and faith in
Orange
, the premier provider of premium packages of personal property.

- Rob on behalf of the Orange Board of Directors

P.S. I'm taking this too seriously.

Please note that
Orange
has now converted, to the time being, to a low-risk asset similar to White. The Board is currently debating what to do going forward. You do not currently need to insure orange stocks, and indeed we recommend that you do not, as there is minimal risk of the stock decreasing even by small amounts and no risk of large amounts outside of a special event. We will keep our stockholders apprised of developments going forward.

@Aronis - By my count, there should be only 7 orange available still in your OP, based on the table of who has what.

Not speaking on behalf of the Board, but as a Board member of orange, I'd like to encourage folks to pick up the 7 orange while they're still available. Big things are coming for our company soon, and you'll want to be on board.

The Orange Board of Directors has voted to pay out a $3 dividend on all current stocks. If you own an Orange stock as of this post (or the next update, not sure how Aronis would process that), you'll get $3, while the stock price of Orange will go down $3. This will help us bring the stock price to an even $40, where we expect it to stay for a day or two as we decide on the future of the stock, which may involve a split.

Dividends are likely to be a significant part of the orange business going forward. We're interested in allowing stockholders to continue holding their orange stock while still receiving money to invest elsewhere. This seems to be the best way to do it.

Orange
Board of Directors Update:

We are currently voting on a proposal to include dividends as a major plan for our stock. If the current proposal is approved, which I expect it will be, we will be targeting our stock around the $20 mark in the long-term. To prevent the value from going above $20, we may begin giving out dividends on a weekly basis on a sliding scale, with higher dividends as we approach the $20 goal. This will allow shareholders to hold the relatively safe and potentially high return Orange while also receiving money to invest in other stocks as they wish.

This proposal has now passed. Orange will now target $20 by using weekly dividends on a pre-determined sliding scale. You should expect to begin seeing dividends pop up on Fridays (or whenever the next day after Friday is that updates are processed) when Orange hits the $10 mark.
