I guess I see the merit of putting the first three leaders on the first team, the more teams that individual people are on then the more information we have about those specific people. At the same time, we only have 5 missions so we can't have too much overlap in between teams, or we'll end up with a lot of information on some people and not enough on the rest. I think the first few round are also going to involve some WIFOM-y stuff, because (I think STD said this maybe) people who are spies have an incentive to make the mission go through too, so that they'll be picked for later teams and can make those missions fail. So I don't know exactly how much use it is to have all 3 of the first leaders on the first team. It's about the same utility as each of us being on our own mission plus any other leader's mission.

Also, I would think that as a leader you're confirmed to yourself so you would want to choose anyone except yourself to go on the mission to maximize the information you get. Or is that wrong?

Is there ever a situation where someone would want to reject a team in the beginning rounds?

(Sorry for rambliness, blame the thanksgiving wine.)

Do you mean when I go to nominate a team? Does it make a difference?

STD and Jal, can you explain why you voted against Bbmolla's team?

Sorry, I realize I've been kinda MIA. This is my first time playing resistance and I'm a person who always struggles with reading others, so I feel pretty useless. I do think it was probably Jal who was a spy on the last mission.

I'm not comfortable with talah, the replacement may have messed things up but STD rejected the first mission, and then talah accepted the second mission, which had the same people as the first mission. It would have been more telling if STD hadn't been replaced between the missions, but there's a chance talah accepted the second mission because he/she knew there was a fellow spy on the mission (being Jal). It's dependent on Jal being a spy too, though.

I joined precisely to improve on it. Also because my f2f group hadn't played in a while and I was getting antsy.

I wasn't completely on board with Fluminator and had some last minute doubts. In retrospect, looking at the votes it was likely an all-town team. Also BNL: why did you say BBmolla was "too wifomy" and then send him on the mission anyway? What made you choose molla over pablito?

SC, Jelly and pablito all downvoted the first failed mission, that was my main reasoning. Although I guess it's easy to reject a mission on purpose to mess up the voting pattern.

I definitely don't like Jal. Don't like Bowser either.
