Thanks everyone - it is three, yes. Two very nervy matchups to finish - thought DGB's hitters were going to catch up last night! Not my best draft this year for sure but managed to come on strong over the last couple of months. Certainly never thought that J.D. Martinez and Steve Pearce would be helping me win a league at the start of the season.

I managed to steal the consolation bracket win on the last day from KMD, so thats something I guess. My team did so poorly within the division. Finally started coming around near the end of the season (before the division matchups again, anyways)

3rd place in the auction league as well. Not bad. Are we continuing the auction keeper again next year?

I'm up for it. It would be nice to have someone to replace Gorc, as he obviously isn't on the site or involved with the league any more. Perhaps Bert would like to take over? Kmd and Anix didn't have an awful lot of activity either but I think that's relatively normal.

Ridiculous. I watched it this morning (because it was obviously on at stupid o'clock for me) without knowing the outcome and I thought it was done for sure at 7-3 A's. Seven steals in all, tied the postseason record. Feel sorry for the A's but kind of fun that the Royals are in.

I know, right?!? I stayed up until just past midnight watching it play out! I was hoping they would pinch hit for Salvador, and then he hits the walk-off...

Also, Ventura pitched two days before the game and they brought him up in relief.

I'm still in. I know I tailed off at the end of the season, that was more a product of chaos than anything else. The Red Sox blowing chunks didn't help either.

I'd like to try it next year too. We'll see what the status is come Februaryish.

We've basically had one open all year. Gorckat was in the league but never picked his keepers or made a move, and looking at his account here, he hasn't been on the site in almost a year either. You might not have some great keepers (unless we redraft) but we only keep up to 6 and it's not that hard to find players in this league anyway.

P-edit: And we can easily increase the teams too if you're interested, D3f - it's just nine right now and we don't need to worry about even numbers as it's roto.

Learned quite a bit about how I was drafting wrong, so I definitely think I can build on that 2nd and 3rd place finish.

It is a long time to go without any baseball. There have been some pretty interesting moves as AGar says, though, and still quite a few players left to sign.

Can I play in this this year? Though if you already have enough players then I wouldn't want to kick anyone out

For the regular league or the keeper? Keeper doesn't matter because we can do odd numbers for roto. We had 16 in the main H2H league this year and I think that's about the viable maximum in terms of scheduling, reasonable player pool etc., so if we went over that we'd probably split into two. I don't know how many people are planning to come back but it would be pretty unusual for all 16 to return. I guess zor will do the call for numbers in early February again like he did last year.

Yeah, I'll do a roll call. If we have 20+ players we can do two leagues. If we have 16 we'll just do one league again as it worked pretty well (though talent was certainly difficult to find). 17-19 players is awkward.

If you want to play, you'll probably get a chance

I recall 3-4 teams being inactive in H2H from May (or earlier) onwards.
