Well, that's why it's a challenge.

No, no, no, everyone... a challenge based off MY username.

Okay failing that. This month's challenge. Family Recipe's. Everyone should hopefully have one? If not, make a new recipe for you and future generations of your family. (this is convenient for me as my dish falls under this)

I promise Grimm will do this soon. We kinda got married yesterday and then celebrated last night and he's working 10am-10pm every day except Tuesdays for the next 2 weeks but he might have time tomorrow evening to do it. If not I'll ask him what he wanted to do and put it up for him

Once upon a time, there was a month of October....The end.

I haven't cooked hardly at all this month. :(

In other news, my husband and I are going to a pretty cool restaurant this Saturday. The Catbird Seat. Reservations have to be made a month in advance and it's like 11 courses. They pick the menu and the wine/cocktail pairings. It's like 2-3 hours worth of food experience. Can't wait. I will try to take pictures of our dishes and share.

Since it's so late in the month this month and I've been stupid busy, we're going to skip October, but I'll post a challenge for November on the first. I've already got the idea in mind and I'll write it all up on the first.

LOL

I do like the idea of retro.
Paraphrasing a role PM takes seconds, fabricating a good fakeclaim takes an eternity.

November's Cooking Challenge

Image
One Pot Cooking!

You only have one pot/pan in the house. What do you make? The theme of this month's challenge is to create a dish using only one pot/pan. Yes, a slow cooker does count. But things like chili are out, because you can't brown the ground beef in another pot/pan. So come up with something unique and amazing, but you have to cook all of the ingredients in a single pot or pan.

The Challenge Rules

  • You may only use one pot or pan to cook your dish.
  • Only one dish is required to be able to enter.
  • Photos of the dish must be provided, including during the cooking process.
  • Describe the process in which you created your dish, as well as how the dish tasted at the end.
