Several masked men arrive and lead your team to one of the exits in the large room and your opponents to another. You are now in a smaller room, with armchairs and little side-tables. On them are snacks, beverages and pads of paper.

You are told that you may discuss your strategy freely here, and that the smuggling rounds will take place in the other rooms adjoining the main one.

It is time for you to begin discussing strategies within your team.

The quicktopics for both teams will be sent out shortly. You may use them, if you like, or choose some other form of communication, if you prefer.

As mentioned earlier, we can save time, by combining rounds together. I believe that 3 rounds at a time would be a good balance. Thus, puzzledan and Mist7676 will announce 3 different names to be smugglers, at a time. Once a team has declared its smugglers, the opposing team can assign a customs officer to each of them.

Both teams will now have 3 days ((expired on 2014-07-26 07:02:46) left) to form their initial strategies and announce their first set of smugglers/customs officers. You do not need to wait until the end of this period to make your announcements.

As a reminder, please note that smugglers and customs officers assigned to them can only communicate with each other, until their actions are resolved.

I should, perhaps, point out that each team will have to announce its three smugglers, before the other team reveals its customs officers. In a way, this means that there is no "going first"; smugglers of opposite sides are not in direct competition, as such.

Now the smugglers should send me a PM with the amount they wish to smuggle, whilst the customs officers should send one with the amount they believe their opponent is trying to smuggle.

To clarify, JDGA will try to stop puzzledan, Piggygal15 will try to stop goodmorning, and so on. Each smuggler/officer pair can communicate with each other and each other only, until they have both sent in their actions.

The deadline for the above is 1 day from now ((expired on 2014-07-28 08:24:15) left).

Since all other pairs have submitted, I will lock everyone's actions and allow private communication once again. The exception to this are Shiidaji and hayatoBL, who are still in the customs office, as it were.

West Erehwon:
- puzzledan attempts to smuggle $100,000. JDGA attempts to block $49,000. $49,000 is blocked and $51,000 is smuggled.
- goodmorning attempts to smuggle $5000. Piggygal15 attempts to block $34,999. $5000 is smuggled and $15,000 is paid in penalties by Piggygal15 to goodmorning.
- Dessew attempts to smuggle $98,999. D3f3nd3r attempts to block $30,000. $30,000 is blocked and $68,999 is smuggled.

West Erehwon successfully smuggled $124,999, thus far.

East Erehwon:
- Mist7676 attempts to smuggle $100,000. Blackberry attempts to block $80,000. $80,000 is blocked and $20,000 is smuggled.
- Klick attempts to smuggle $100,000. Cheery Dog attempts to block $50,000. $50,000 is blocked and $50,000 is smuggled.
- penguin_alien attempts to smuggle $0. hayatoBL attempts to block $0. $0 is blocked and $0 is smuggled.

East Erehwon successfully smuggled $70,000, thus far.

A small clarification to the rules:

Each player

has an inside and outside account, which held a total of $400,000 at the start of the game, between them. That is, each player can individually smuggle up to $300,000 in total, but each team has up to 30 smuggling attempts to divide between its players.

Wait where did $400,000 come from?

Isn't it, Inside accounts have $300,000 and whenever you smuggle you take that much from your inside account to your outside account, and you walk away with everything from your outside account? Where does money go when the custom's officer stops it? Do they keep it in their inside or outside account? And that means I only have $200,000 left to smuggle, correct?
