Isn't that the main reason we choose people to go on missions? Anyways not selecting yourself for a mission is being antitown, because you know you're town. Unless he is scum in which case he can leave himself off. Plus that way with him being paired with two town people, failing this mission is a big risk for him if he wants to avoid being caught.

It's like Vetinari's thing about his motives being completely transparent, in Discworld: Does it mean that you can see right through them, or that you can't see them? Anyway, you're not particularly transparent. I only see an explanation for your early beast read. Why did you change your mind about him and are townreading him now? Why are Aronis and Titus scum? Why are Blackberry and I town? Is your third scum choice (one of BPC/Wisdom) due to PoE, or what?

@Titus: Yes, you are currently looking like a lurker to me. You haven't said much yet, and the stuff you said was mostly about very general things (e.g. activity not being alignment-indicative and scumhunting until Saturday), rather than about the players in this specific game. Valid things to say, mind you, which is why I think you look more like lurking town, than lurking scum. It doesn't mean you will continue to look like a lurker. It could be due to the fact that it's still early in the game. As for where you are at, I only see your Aronis and beast reads, and I'd like to see your reasoning behind them, as well as others you might have.

@Molla: Scum could pretend to not know how many scum there are, even if the number had been posted by the mod, let alone in this case. Besides, he claimed that we didn't know how many scum there were, so presumably this is the same as claiming he carefully looked at what Thur said. But then, why would he say that 1 scum is "unlikely but possible"? It was actually impossible, because mission 4 requires 2 fails, something that Thur did say. If there's only one scum, that phase is meaningless.

Anyway, we already talked about this, because Blackberry asked: That is a transference fallacy; just because you (claim that you) wouldn't do that, doesn't mean others wouldn't. Nor that they'd feel like a douche by doing it. In no way does it make beast town.
