The main thing is to activate the starboard-bow sector last so that the other raiders will move toward the civilian rather than shoot at Galactica after it's destroyed, so there'll only be three raiders shooting at you rather than eight. That sector then becomes pretty nukeworthy next turn.

Great, thanks for the advice. I was under the mistaken impression they could move and then fire.

I'm about to get on my plane and afk for the next few days. I will message Sudo with some things and see you on the other side of my jump o/

Alright, time to play. CDB puts in nothing by PM. LLD next.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

I'm not sure we should spend resources on this.

...but I have a high card to burn that may not be so useful elsewhere so I still can help.

Can I get an updated hand, please?

I can invest some cards but my hand is nearly empty and I'd rather use them in the upcoming "kick JDGA out the airlock" check. Gimme something to work with here. Did you put in low, mid or high?

We can't damage Pegasus in case the airlock gets hit. JDGA might go to sickbay, but she still controls the jump destination - and the nuke.

As it happens I'm unable to assist this check in any meaningful way, so ill have to pass. Sorry to waste time.

That's a total of 6 contributions:

Launch Scout - 1

Launch Reserves - 5

Calculations - 3

Popular Influence - 3
A Better Machine - 3
Bait- 0

For a total of 3: Failed! A Raptor is destroyed, and Sky_Paladin must pick a ship to damage
A Better Machine shuffles 2 Treachery into the Destiny Deck
Bait adds a Civilian ship behind Galactica.

Sky_Paladin to decide on which ship to damage, and if he'd like to change the raider activation order with the added civilian.

I'll pencil in:
Activate rear, activate front, activate group of 3, activate group of 4.
And take the hit on the Galactica.
I'm away still. If 2 out of LLD/STD/CDB are okay with that, lets go with it.

There are two basestars on the board. It would not be very difficult for Galactica to explode very quickly, especially with Hot Dog in the brig to slow jump progress and you guys being unable to assign damage to Pegasus on Cylon turns if they don't want you to, while you could lose valuable cards to fight that if Cally goes to sickbay. Meanwhile, on Pegasus, you have only a 25% chance of damaging the Airlock.

No-brainer to me, but your decision. In a game moving this slowly, I'd really rather that you made it quickly (or had had this discussion during the skill check when you knew that it was coming).

Yep. I'm looking at this game to be over as soon as humanly possibly.

I'm giving CDB a chance, (although he is probably human aligned trying to save you guys) but regardless of alignment, Im ready for this game to be done and will do my utmost to ensure it is by my next turn.

I'd love it if some of the human aligned players chimed in.
Basically my thought is if we jump while JDGA is admiral, we lose. We can brig her or kick her out the airlock, but with the Admiral's Quarters out, we can't currently brig her, either. I don't mind her wasting the nuke from the sickbay while we hyper out as much as the FTL getting blasted, though. We can still jump with a busted FTL after all.

My main concern is that Pegasus seems to already have taken a hit and it's in danger of being destroyed. Better it than us though.

I'll sleep on it but if there's nothing from my team mates, I'll have Pegasus take the hit.

Don't sleep on it, Pegasus is the play here. I am telling you this not as a cylon scumlord but to move on. You want to win, correct? Use Pegasus for what it was designed for and don't risk it with yet another damage on Galactica,

I agree the airlock is in danger of getting busted.

If airlock goes, we might be in trouble, but if we hit the fuel or the ftl, we'll be just as bad, if not worse.

So Pegasus is probably the way to go.
