The rule is very simple.
Anyone can play, and all you have to do is give me some notes (C5, D4, F#6, Bb3, etc) or rests (r), duration (8, 4, 2, 1), and one instrument enough to fill a 4/4 measure.
Example: C5 4 E5 4 G5 4 C6 4 Piano
I will allow up to 12 instruments, including drums. Drum will use a different notation (K, s, H, S) (Kick, Slap, Hat, Snare respectively.)
Using a same instrument will add the notes at the next measure while using a different instrument will use a different instrument slot. If you want to put something at measure 2 or something, you must specify.
Also, overriding notes are not permitted.
Some special notation:
- for triplets, group them with { }. Ex. {C5 8 C5 8 C5 8}
- for double notes (I will allow up to 4), group them with ( ).
If you want to add something special suggest it with bold.
I will try to link a soundcloud with what the music actually sound like every 8 measures or something.
Spoiler: Keeping track of notes
