Hi I'm doing a Pokemon thing. All battles will be held on Showdown, and I will be using Serebii to verify stuff. Specifics for the season will be ironed out once signups are closed and I see how many people are playing (all /ins will be accepted).
So here's what you need to know for now. During the regular season, each player will have two matches per round. Rounds will last a week at most, though the next round will start early if the previous one ended. Rounds may or may not have gimmicks and special rules. Your team will constantly be expanding; you will get new Pokemon before some rounds. I also have a leveling up mechanic I'm going to be using. The calculations are ~~secret~~ but if you can figure them out, good for you. Every round, the best individually performing Pokemon will win MVP and earn an extra level. A trainer can't have one of their Pokemon win MVP two rounds in a row. Every few rounds, levels will be globally raised to make sure nobody gets too far ahead.
For season one, we will be using third generation mechanics. Fights on Showdown should be Gen 3 OU.
