In any case, I'll type this one up, but care for a rematch? Best 2 of 3?

All I ask is the ability to choose my discards differently.

Yeah, I'd like a best 2 of 3. Hopefully I remember what all of my cards and tokens are this time. I'd also want to change my discards.
Never be sorry for your little time.

Congratulations on the win! Hikaru is nice (and I don't think I'm playing Kallistar right yet.) You played well even with the confusion!

Hikaru's definitely fun, especially since I've always liked the simplicity of the melee bruiser approach. Kallistar was the other character I was considering from the start, but I have no clue how I'd actually play her.

Two other things I got wrong until halfway through the last turn: I thought I could use "Geomagnetic" to use Wind and outprioritize. If I didn't double check the rules on that I probably would have ended up anteing Fire, thinking I could chose whether I needed Water or Wind afterwords.

Thanks again for running this. I've started watching a lot of fighting game tournaments recently (even though I'm pretty bad at them myself) so seeing them converted to this is really interesting, and I never get a chance to play any good board games in person. I'm strongly considering getting this now, even if actually finding someone to play it with would be hard.

If you do get this one (any version) and want to play these pbf games then I'll be up for them! I do like that the game doesn't require the reflexes that the video games do. I'm also worried about how badly you'll stomp me this next game if you're still getting some of the parts wrong, but if I'm in for a stomping then I'm in for a stomping!
