well there is the sun and the centaur cluster. I think the closest 1 of those is centauri proximus (sp?) but I don't remember the names of the other 2. bayard is nearby but I think the centaur cluster is closer. do I get it right if I say that it is the centauri cluster but only remember 1 of their names? it seems like centauri alpha wld be 1 but I am at a loss for what to call the third.

I used to study astronomy and greek mythology when I was a kid and the myths along with how they relate to the stars in the sky are pretty fascinating and it always made it easy to remember what was what and who was who even if there were a cple of different names for the same star/planet. for instance both helios and apollo are earth's sun gods altho the 2 never had any significant interaction that I recall. and chieron was such a cool figure in the myths even if he was in the minor pantheon being a centaur and all. anyhoo, just dumb trivia.

I count it as 4 guesses: Sun, Proxima Centauri, Alpha Centauri A, and Alpha Centauri B. Because you have unlimited guesses, that is fine. However, you will not win $3000 dollars because Alpha Centauri B was incorrect.
The Sun, Proxima Centauri, and Alpha Centauri A are correct!

Which category next?

PS. I know season 2 aired, but we'll keep playing season 1 for a while. I will stop for sure if anyone reaches question 500.

Wouldn't mollie still get $3000 beause eventhough she got A. Centauri B wrong, she already mention the first three answers already?

I actually gave her the benefit of the doubt, because she didn't mention alpha centauri a and alpha centauri b, she just said "centauri cluster".
