This title has several meaning. First of all, this is a title of one of the Touhou characters, which he loves and have modded a lot of.
Secondly, the word "puppeteer" is related to moderating a game which could be viewed as "pulling a string of everyone and see what they do with it". And people liking his games (you can also see that by just how fast his game fills), which I guess "seven colored" part shows elegance/beauty like a rainbow. (If you've seen his recent modded games, the formatting is beautiful.)
Third, Alice Margatroid (the Touhou character who has that title) is FG's favorite.

I mean, good formatting = rainbow...? :s maybe if he was one of the obviously LGBT people on the site, but just for formatting/touhou reference is very meh...

Actually...

When I think of Fakegod games, I think of very colorful flavor and well executed modding. His posts are often also very colorful.

Add in some alliteration AND keeping the nod to the touhou rainbow and we get...

You might be underestimating how pretty they are. I mean, he almost won the best flavor scummie for a game that had no flavor due to sheer formatting (which reflects really badly on the scummies process too but)

Seven-Colored has nothing to do with being gay. Despite what all the MariAri doujins might tell you. FakeGod is 'the guy who mods touhou other then Vi' to me. Also helped me entice my touhou mafiaboard friends to come play on mafiascum and they already want him to make another setup immediately.

What's the problem if someone with a title doesn't stick around, anyway? It's not like they are a precious commodity and limited stock. We have a lot of long term users who have titles and are inactive. "Prioritizing" titles based on user "contribution"? As long as SK keeps on top of things, it's not like he has a queue of users to go through

The time you spend on MafiaScum doesn't always correlate with the impact you make.
Some players have been here for years without joining a lot of games and/or leaving strong memories after themselves. Some have been for a short time and despite this, a large part of the community knows them. Wgeurts is a perfect example for the latter case.
Besides, if someone gets a title, that means at least five other players think that the title fits them, describes them and tells something "unique" about them. It takes some time to get a "renowned for" something – sometimes it happens quickly, sometimes not.

maybe it's because I'm not a Tohou fan but I really don't get "Seven Colored Pupeteer" other than the reference. trying to say Seven-Colored = beauty/elegance like a rainbow, just... feels stretching, and it kind of taints the title for me.

. From someone who hasn't interacted much w/ FakeGod, I still think that fits his personality. It drops the obvious Tohou ref, but it's succinct and to-the-point. Prismatic is my second-runner-up.

I'm indifferent on the time restriction thing if anyone cares, maybe slightly leaning toward 3mo but meh.

Tierce, we are going to have to agree to disagree. I'm not saying special circumstances never happen, but I think the average player who's been here for only three months isn't really part of the community yet.

But I also think the community is defined more by what happens outside the mafia games subforums than inside them sooo yep
