Chess Tags... Do they deal with chess variants? If so can they deal with "dropping" of pieces?

Can we have mass PMs like we used to. Where you can see which individuals have read it and which haven't.

I'm not sure if the problem is specific to me or general but Help! always has unread posts. Then when I check the forum there are none. If I "mark forum read" it works until a new thread so it's *really* minor but I was intrigued if anyone else has it.
