SOLVED: Is search disabled?

I just tried doing a couple of different searches and I got absolutely nothing returned. It was just the brown (mafSepia) box with no header or body text.

No, it's working fine for me...although I do know what problem you're having. I'll tell you if i remember how i solved it...

No, that means that you're either using the search too much or too many people are searching. Try again on a few minutes, it works for me.

Yeah, search is just on a longer delay (60-90sec IIRC) these days, to help avoid White Screens.

I get that all the time. I think it's when you go from searching one way to another (example "view your posts" to "all posts by user") or when you use back or forward to go to a previous search. Oh, and refreshing the page usually does it too.

Sometimes I'm searching and after I hit search, nothing shows up. Not "No posts have met your criteria" no results, it just says Search, and then a small space filled with nothing.
