Post Editing

For some reason I can edit my posts in ALL my Open games. I didn't see this problem on the wishlist, so I'm assuming you guys don't know about it yet. I wonder how long I've been able to do this?

Open Mods' permissions look fine... your permissions look comparable to other mods, as far as I can tell.

There's an outside chance that this is related to the latest fix, but I don't see how... you're saying you can edit anything, locked game or not, right?

Err..... I don't know about locked games. It's just that in say, Medical Mafia, I can edit my posts, which while it isn't you know, a huge problem as I haven't used it, but I figured you guys should know.

Actually, just found an old locked Open. I actually CAN edit it, which is super-weird, since I couldn't even edit my posts in the game I modded while the topic was locked.

We just fixed the "can't edit the game I'm modding when it's locked" error a couple of days ago. That's the only change that could possibly affect this; otherwise it's been there for months and people are being good/quiet about it.

I may try rolling it back and see if that fixes it, but not today.

I can't edit posts in all my games. But when I am a mod I can edit my posts in games I am playing in that forum.

since the move :/ I've mentioned it in a few games when i first noticed with a hint of fake glee. (ive never editted by non-mod posts, btw)

Haylen has specifically claimed that 'problem' when other people couldn't edit non-mod posts, though. I don't know that it's related...

I can edit all my posts in Coney Island because I still have mod powers there. :/

No, for months it's supposed to be locked down to 'only able to edit games you're modding'. Most people seem to have that, only a few are 'exempt' for no reason I can determine.

I suddenly seem to not have editing powers for this thread AND I can't seem to lock it, either. Deadline for the game is later today so I need a fix fast. Halp!

Coney Island and Little Italy now have separate modgroups, so that's probably what happened with your game, esuriospiritus. It took a day or two to get the two groups sorted out...
