Wierd Posting Glitch

Post Post #0 (ISO) » Fri Nov 25, 2011 10:21 am

Post by Bub Bidderskins »

Whenever I make a long post, I have this weird glitch that happens. The posting box works just fine until the text of my posts starts to get down towards the end of the posting box (with the scroll bar set up at its highest). When my post starts getting long, the scroll bar refuses to stay down to where I'm typing. Every time I type, it goes down to the new letter, but then jerks back up to the top a half a second later. I try scrolling the bar down manually, but it just jumps back up to the top whenever I type anything.

For the record, I'm running Windows XP and Internet Explorer 8.

Have you tried extending the text box? It isn't the first choice for a solution but it might be worth trying to see if it works until someone can explain what's happening.

Actually, it probably is an IE problem. Rhinox reported this just a few days ago: http://mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=19595
Retired as of October 2014.
