[SOLVED?] 500 internal server error when I post

I have tried quick and normal replay on multiple pages. I simply can't post.

Also, I can post in f62, GD, MD, the queue, Amstaad and here... odd.

tried different browser. Same results.

Can't do any serious troubleshooting from my phone, but confirming that I can post there, unsurprisingly.

Do you have access to another computer on that network that you can try posting from? Also a screencap of your error would be great.

I'd just like to report that I can post fine, but I also get the same error if I try to edit Post 0 of my game (to update thread title, or update living/dead player lists, ect). I can edit other posts fine, and I can post fine.

What troubleshooting info do you guys need?

If it helps, my browser is Firefox, and I've gotten the error from different computers on different networks (althouh I use Firefox on both).

It is just this white screen saying exactly what the topic of this thread says. I'm going to try on another computer.

Also, I didn't screenshot it, but in between those two I do actually get the edit post window (the text editor and such). Only when I click submit do I get the error screen.

It was an issue for me last night when i was trying to post a new thread/use the preview function in general I think (or maybe it was just the OP's I cou;dn't change can't remember)

Having this issue. It seems to be related to a certain number of characters per post, and it forced me to break a post in several parts.

Cooldog? Is post size related at all for you?

Tierce, does the size factor seem the same regardless of what forum you are in?

Just confirming that post size does seem to be the culprit. If I cut the flavor text out of my post I can edit it and the changes go through. Of course now I can't get the flavor text back in.

Only tried it in Theme Park; since this is not relevant to the game in any manner and anyone can see it by ISOing me for my 500 Error complaints, this was by making VC dump posts.

I can grab the posts, kludge them together and see if the error happens elsewhere. Will report back in a few minutes.

Confirmed; it's happening everywhere.

To reproduce, just grab two of my D1 VC posts in Weather Mafia II (posted yesterday) and run them together; should be enough to cause the break.
