As I consult with my scumbuddy on who is the best mislynch, I think it is safe to say that no lynch is always a scummy wagon and therefore it has my full support.

As a member of the mafia, I would like to ask the culted non-cult leader to simply claim being culted. If we wish to win with cult, then we should simply lynch the culted each day which allows them to continue to recruit each night, thus increasing the total number of culted winners at endgame. I speak on behalf of the entire mafia faction in saying this! There should only be like one or two people really opposed to such a magnificent plan. Really the best plan, the greatest plan ever if I do say so myself

Conversely if we play conventionally, every single townie we mislynch is a townie that we're putting at risk of losing the game, when that's totally unnecessary.

Joint win is best for everyone except UTs right?

It's a game, we can choose how to play it. The setup allows for 7/9 people to win with the cult if we play it correctly starting day 1. I think executing a joint win, that allows for up to 8/9 to possibly win depending on the setup configuration, actually sounds pretty fun. It's like having a guaranteed town victory in a 7-2 setup, with the perk that this way we also get to summon cthulhu! What's not to like?

I think it’s vaguely for the best if UTs claim D1. If we have a UT massclaim our EV shoots way up and there’s nothing scum can do to stop it. OTOH, if scum claims UT they will be found by any other or claim and both cultists have to claim.

In column 3 rows 1 and 2 there is only one PR. If the sole PR is recruited, then cult can literally have that PR and the CL claim UT and town autoloses if they trust it. Therefore, any UT claim after D1 without specifically a roleblocker flip is untrustworthy.

Additionally, we should probably hypoclaim JK targets at daystart.

I think no lynch is town (or at least not CL) because he clearly doesn't give a shit what people think about him. It's the same reason Hectic is probably cult. He cares too much what people think of him, or at least that's what his behavior looks like to me. I will acknowledge that I am a decent paranoia lynch, but that that makes me a better lynch later game when I'm likely to have been recruited, not least because I have enough strategic prowess that even assuming I'll be lynched on D2 I'd still be a solid addition to a cult team.

The problem with games with cult as the only scum faction is that so many people will play for cult win condition even when they aren't cult.

The setup should probably be adjusted with the addition of a SK in Micro, and/or a mafia faction in larger games. Some calculations, simulations etc should be run before getting to a proper setup, but i think it's fairly evident that even if the setup is balanced in a vacuum, it's wrong that so many people are trying to break it by playing against their current wincon.
