Im off work now. One thing i want to say is that before i played Mafia online, i used to play a lot of resistance so this is my type of setup to shine in. Let me carry y'all

how exactly does resistance correlate to this setup

what mechanics? can you elaborate?

Percival and Merlin/Morgana and the subsequent guessing of them by scum. should they end up all getting eliminated. That's the key similarity and it has a parallel in playstyle, although the risk of Merlin actually being able to be pushed on and eliminated from the game is extremely risky and means they cannot do breadcrumb strategies that can be perceived as scummy else risk being led on.

we all instinctively become one being and find the scum. When town finds the breadcrumbs and is able to gamesolve via sheeping eachother. I can't really describe it unless it happens. But if it does, town basically has autowin and mafia is royally fucked.

All we needed was to hide merlin identity and this game would be easy.

well the average setup on MS is longform AND gives town 2 MLs which is extremely townsided

here though, you really have to not be afraid to just let town get lynched and everyone's role is to appear as if they are merlin.
