Not necessarily. Either m=n+1 or n=m+1.
If m=n+1:
Mafioso 1: m+4 = n+1+4 = n+5
Mafioso 2: n+3

If n=m+1:
Mafioso 1: m+4
Mafioso 2: n+3 = m+1+3 = m+4.

Obviously they can't both be the same person, so they're people who are two apart on the playerlist (n+5 and n+3).

You're right, you're probably town. Obviously from my PoV I'm town, so the most likely explanation was that Eve is scum and the other scum didn't check the thread. If the other scum is RedFlavor, that's entirely possible, given they haven't posted recently and are being prodded. However, Eve's probably the safest bet here.

Equinox and Jake have the highest EV from my POV. However, if Klick was scum with Jake, I don't think they would've brought up the possible pairings and implicated Jake. So if we rule out Jake/Klick, the highest EV is Equinox.
