ok my early solve is {genghis, drew}. sleeper is 100% town, and so far both tux and holden are weak townreads.

Agreed to both. That's why I wanted to know if Kahn and Drew were lovers. Now know they aren't their coordination on you seems scummy. The push is weak, and they both made the same weird mistake about Holden. Not sure about Sleeper being so towny though. I like Ray.

Yeah I agree. It's not like scum can use it to their advantage since it would just seal their own fate. So being as open about what goes on in the PT is best.

Holden and I are mostly talking about set up stuff.

For example I'm of the opinion that since we have a 50/50 chance of hitting scum today. That it might be best to town hunting. If we can find a pure lovers group then lynching everyone else seems like a sure path to victory.

Yeah, I already said this. I was working towards Votato and Sleeper being the pure pair, but now it seems I was way off there.

Did Bugspray ever vote Kahn? Or was it just Drew?

The pure pair could be Drew/Ray but I feel Ray is hedging a little too much. Like they want the town points for being willing to self hammer, but they've been setting up to leap onto Votato the whole time.

I think Holden and I are the pure group.

I think there is potential for it yes. They seem to keep going "I'm so town I'm willing to lynch my lover" but your wagon is at maximum momentum and nothing from them. And now they vote Votato, which I think is what I think was their scum plan the whole time. Get the brownie points for looking willing to die, while pivoting for to another target so they don't have to follow through.

And no matter how Votato/Sleeper flip scum Ray is in a good spot. If Votato is their partner, they can probably keep going on all these town points for a win. If Votato is town, you've already said that mislynching today basically makes it impossible for town to win. So I think scum!Ray could be willing to make that self-sacrifice.

In our PT Ray has been very open with reads about why she distrusts me, and has open to me explaining myself and my reads. I also get no sense of manipulation or doing something to please me.

Plus, I have been in lots of danger of being lynched and she hasn't waivered on her openness to vote me. If she is scum than she is playing it to perfection(and I am very good at sussing out roles in hoods, so worst, case scenario I got this).

Plus, she even said she would vote me tomorrow if the sleeper/votato hood is all town......scum wouldn't do that in lylo.

Holden and I have been talking about Tractors, and how he is covered in oil. These are unrelated topics.

Words aren't the same as actions in my opinion. Also if mislynching day 1 greatly influences scum's ability to win, wouldn't dying in Lylo for it be worth it?

It was the scum!Ray game that was linked. It's a weird set up, and even though they got lynched day 1 it didn't seem they were scum read. It was a weird set up. Not sure it's really a good thing to glean info from. But I have only barely skimmed the end of day 1.

Hannibal had some good successes with the poster child being the battle of cannae. There was a reason after all he was close to laying siege to Rome after all. However, as great as a battle tactician he was, logistically his campaign was a nightmare that left Carthage exposed to counter attack by scorpio which they took. Then he fucking lost to scorpio with the same trick he pulled at cannae like a fucking loser.

Points do go to keeping manpower up. His campaign at that point was heavily fueled by mercenaries which was hard to find in mainland Rome as opposed to modern day Spain iirc.

Yeah, but the Carthaginians were basically setting up Hannibal to fail. Making backroom deals, not giving him the support he needed, and also just losing every battle Hannibal wasn't there for.

P:edit I took classes on historical warfare while at clown college, so if you wanna talk Leonidas and bad comedy films (fight me) I am your man. Don't get me started on how the entire history of greek warfare is them barely winning by luck and then going "well since we won, clearly nothing has to change." and then getting stomped immediately after.
