what does everyone think about doing a reverse and healing the scummiest person to leash them into pick their own switch?

pedit: i'm thinking about the pros/cons of talking strategy before switches are locked in, but I think i might need to say this. if we don't utilise our heal today, scum will pick townie switches the next day, we only get one mislynch + scum nightkills and activates both their switches to win. we never lynch tomorrow. we always switch.

I haven’t played with Klick before but I know Ame pretty well! I’m sad we can’t hear her reasoning anymore + she left. For interactions, I hopped on the ame wagon pretty early

I totally agree with the majority option btw. it gets rid of unnecessary wifom.

If I need to answer my own question, i’d say I was curious about why ame was so insistent on healing herself + if she was really going to choose ico. The ico/ame rivalry is a joke so was she really going to go through with it?

there's certainly a bit of wifom going on cause morning/tuxedo/votato are also my townreads. it seems convenient to be able to push them to the side, although atm that's still what i'm leaning towards.

ok, yes i can agree with that. I just don't know who likes playing scum enough to play the waiting game (cause holding a buddy's switch means they can't do the rush strategy) over hoping there are two miskills and then double-activating. it seems like the most straightforward way

nevermind i think we do. if we go out of order, we risk losing more switches/losing like Morning said. How does everyone feel about the big group?

actually, the big brain strategy (remember partition, Morning?) should be one in the big group and one in the small group. it seems we're led to want to kill in the big group (ame and ico were semi-suspicious yesterday), and scum want us to choose the wrong order. scum can then have the best of both worlds because they will both be holding town switches.

These are all good points and i agree so i'm back to wanting to kill my loop. +1 to Morning's question because I'm also not sure why Klick is townie. if i had to pick someone in the big loop to save apart from me, it'd be Datisi(?) but ideally, i'd like to see more from Datisi/Ico.

i don't really want beeboy/Klick to live. beeboy has a few posts promoting wifom which kinda rub me the wrong way + i recently played a terrible game of noughts and crosses and if he used that game as meta for me, i think he'd think i am an easy kill which would make me good to put next to his theoretical partner, Klick. this would also make his Ico push just now make sense. this is slightly tinfoil though.

also, according to Ico-statistics, Ico and I always share the same alignment and Ame and i have an 80% chance of rolling opposite alignments.

I’m mostly for the plan, I think. It’s very very unlikely both scum are in the small group so there’s at least one in the big group and as long as there is, we won’t lose provided we pick a good order. 1-1 is definitely the best strategy if they thought we were going to do this but again, we can win if we pick a good order.

!!! thank you beeboy for saving me from the evil mafia!! i'm pretty sure that datisi flip/everything means he's town then! the reevaluation point is good on second thought; i support klick flipping ico's switch and then (probably) me flipping klick's switch. 75% sure it's one of klick/ico.

I think optimal scum play is to pair people off

i also thought this. would we be forced to lynch in some situations? the arrangement was still good though; it was more a shame the triangle was so townie. 1-1 is also pretty good if you could persuade us to choose a bad order. this setup reminds me of partition a bit in that there's so many ways to play, which is great

the scum pt has got to be a fun read if datisi was in it so i'm looking forward to it!
