I read up last night and at first blush this is scuuuuuuuuum

from the moment he replaced in, porkens was after me. he did end up voting clarkbar in the end (a move i found scummy at the time), but he went back after me on day 2, helping to push me to C-1.

Alright I just skimmed those three.

all of this is completely unnecessary bussing if we were partners. i'd imagine i'd be the more confident scum player here (despite years away), he would have no reason to come into the game pushing me so hard.

further, i was put to C-1 very quickly day 2 and claimed VT, which would have been a surefire death sentence as scum.

I had no idea alisae was going to claim.

if i were scum with porkens, playing day 2 the way we did is essentially a gamethrow. the far preferable move as scum is to claim a power role at the least, in the hope of outing a role. this is especially true since there was a confirmed blocked kill. leaving a solo partner alive without any roles outed is a likely loss. essentially to view me/porkens as a team is to assume our play was incompetent.

i had the perfect position to claim a power role, since formerfish was believed to have softclaimed. i claimed VT instead.

this is because i am town and need to play with the hand i have been dealt.

i cannot make things up and act at my own convenience. i have to tell the truth, however strange or unlikely it may be.

part 2: i spent most of day 2 asking, literally begging people to vote me, so that i could die and people would understand alisae was town. i refused to jump the umlaut vote as well. i was confident both those players were town and their elimination meant a likely town loss. i basically refused both wagons on town players and argued for my own elimination instead. trying to get voted out there as scum, with my partner locked into a doctor claim, would be a suicide strategy - it'd basically be impossible for him to win. this is our exchange on page 61:

does this look like theater to you? do you think i'd attempt a gambit of asking for votes, when a number of players were likely to oblige? what's my angle supposed to be here? trying to get townread when it was unlikely to change many minds? no one was voting porkens that day, i'd just be drawing unnecessary attention to myself. starting a fight with my partner in-thread would be...unproductive, to say the least. i was voting alisae when e self-voted and put emself at C-1. optimal sum play there would be to let porkens hammer. he gets cancelled the next day, but i get to go to 3 way looking very, very good and having an easy path to winning, where i can kill stubborn roadblocks like cm1 and hiraki. instead i got scared by alisae's AtE and unvoted, not wanting to be sent to a potential 5 way no clears. i would have been making the game very difficult for myself as scum for basically no good reason.

Just look at the type of arguments being used for Pisskop though and look at how this day has gone.
Pisskop is thrown over as being the easy vote because they're not really doing anything and we haven't got much time left and yet all day town has been arguing over so much, my bets are: Scum are each on 2 different arguments and keeping them going for as long as possible and now that there's little time left they can get an easy miscancel on someone not involved in any arguments and thus we learn nothing from the cancel
