My thoughts are in favour of heeding Saudade's advice in casting out Not_Mafia as Mafia. Though deceptively their name suggests against it.
Their playstyle is counter-intuitive to that which town should strive for. That holy Matroneum of:
- Openness about thoughts regarding the game.
- Clear thought and mind.
- Seriousness when it comes to voting justification.
- An thorough explanation of scummy intentions behind the target accused.

Saudade has questioned Not_Mafia's intentions in scumreading me and not received an satisfactory answer in reply. Therefore it is natural for Saudade's trustworthiness to be held in higher regard, even if any other entities do not hold the privilege of already knowing the alignment on that person which has been accused by the defendant in question.

A flip on Not_Mafia would also clarify Pooky's allignment as their thoughts have been in sync in these latest pages.

like here's how the math works.

we have 2/5 chance of hitting a scum if we lynch randomly right now. (2 scum / 5 players)

we have 1/2 chance of hitting a scum if we lynch randomly after IC reveal. (2 scum / 4 players)

However,

If someone is being run up and about to get lynched.. and he is the IC - I assume he will claim at that point..

So there is NO point for the IC to use his ability now since it will not improve the odds in town favor at all.

the reason there is no point is because the odds of IC being lynched should be 0 - > since if he was actually in danger of being lynched he could just use his ability and put us back to the 2/4 game-state - hence the probability of the IC being lynched is actually 0 in this game state as long as we play optimally and nobody does anything stupid.

Let's say the game state is 2 mafia : 2 town : 1 revealed IC.

Now if the town succeeds in lynching 1 of the mafia - (50% probability) then the game state advances to:

1 mafia : 2 town (mafia kills IC at night)

So it's about 50% chance the town succeeds D2 and gets to this game state.


What you are saying is going to happen - is that Mafia will suicide bomb the IC when he reveals and advance us to this game state:

for free...

So Iconeum’s return today definitely improved how I’m feeling about him, luncheon not so much. I think I’d rate My suspects list, strongest to weakest, as luncheon>>Jake>Ico>Pooky, the arrows aren’t exact distance, I just wanted to make it clear there’s a significant gap in there

The case a was a mess, I went over the details in my mind again as I thumbed through the photons on my desk, two dead kids and a dead teacher, town at its wits end, this wasn't going to be easy but then again Tracer Bullet doesn't take easy cases.

The first victim was taken apart by a mob of his own peers - apparently he was a nerd who wasn't well liked and didn't have enough friends at the school, the scum must've smelled weakness here - they did their work quick.

The second victim was one of the primary instigators - shot dead by a teacher who decided to take the law into his own hands, a rookie mistake.

Third victim was the only teacher at the school, decided to play cowboy and jumped the shark, arm the teachers they say, it takes experience and guts to know how to handle a gun - looks like the bad guys here are pretty experienced because they were onto him.

Looking over at how day one went, I could see how the town got into this bad situation. Too many people followed the bully and not enough thought for themselves - in a town with this many sheep - the wolves tend to roam free.

I took another swig of my Bourbon and snuffed out my cigarette - things were going to change around here

Tracer Bullet had faced tough crowds before but this was something new,

reaching into his pocket for another smoke, his hand felt the re-assuring cold metal of his .38,

Tracer Bullet took another look around the room - a wall of blank stares confronted him. Tough crowd, easy for the wolves to hide in.

Sucking in a deep puff, neurons firing at lightspeed, Tracer Bullet leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes...

The rush of the nicotine hit raced through his head quickly, and he exhaled - a plume of white smoke drifting across his desk.

This case was going to be tough to solve, but you don't bring in Tracer Bullet on the easy ones..

Tracer Bullet woke with a start - he must've passed out during the night sometime after halfway into his bottle of Bourbon.

The faint smell of cigarette smoke lingered over his desk like the fog in his mind - the ashtray full of cig butts stared at him from across the desk.

A hangover pounded his head like a jackhammer as he tried to rub his eyes - reaching into his pocket for his hip flask, he took a quick swig of Jack to chase the cobwebs out of his head.

The alcohol rushed through his system like pure fire, instantly snapping the snoop into focus, a warm pleasant feeling in his gut.

The last vote tally for Day 1 was on top of his desk, he must have passed out while going over it for the 10th time that night.

Looking at the information with fresh eyes, Tracer Bullet knew the document must have clues to solve this case

Seven out of Eight Players had their votes on the dead victims - only one man out of them had his vote on somebody else.

Sloppy, Stupid - this town was not doing itself any favors and there wasn't a whole lot to go on.

Tracer Bullet knew that in a case like this, it was up to him to shake up the 8th man, the one who stood away from the crowd - Iconeum.

He didn't follow the crowd, but he didn't do much to stop them. Either he was the smartest man in the town or a suspicious wolf hiding out of sight

"Why did you decide to keep your vote outside of the top 2 Wagons? What did you think of them and why were you conveniently not around at the end?"

It wasn't a polite question - but polite questions didn't get you anywhere - Tracer Bullet was done playing games here.

I think it's obvious that at least one scum was on Dashwood's wagon.

Tracer Bullet let the openwolf's voice bounce around in his head a few more times, a frown over his face as he lit up another cigarette.

It doesn't help to state the obvious, and Jake wasn't one for deep thoughts or big insights,

whether that's a testament to his innocence or his naivety, only God and himself knew.

Tracer Bullet looked over Jake's file yet again, the kid had a rap sheet as long as country mile.

Eating some pigs who were first time home-owners, trying to eat a little girl and her grandmother too.

This wolf was on his last strike, don't know which genius thought to put him in school.

But then again this solution seemed too simple - a wolf in a suspicious hat and a trenchcoat?

The bad guys here had to be smarter than that? Or did they?

Something about the way Jake talked made Tracer Bullet think this might be a wolf he could trust.

Taking one last drag out of the half burned out cigarette, Tracer Bullet suddenly turned deadly serious,

Trace Bullet knew he had to re-read the file on the missing person they called "lunchmeat"

A tip of the hat to the wolf, and Tracer Bullet headed out into the rain to look for more clues.

Tracer Bullet found the one the called "Lunchmeat" passed out behind an old dumpster in the yard.

He reeked of alcohol and cat poop. It looked like he didn't have a good night.

Was this a man on the run from the law? or another innocent victim caught up in the mayhem?

Only time could tell, that and a shot of Bourbon,

They say alcohol reveals a great many truths and there isn't much of a better way to know someone than to have a few drinks with them.

Lunchmeat looked like he needed a stiff drink, he was barely coherent as he slumped against the alley wall.

Tracer Bullet offered the man his hand, there was a bar around the corner where they could get to know each other,

He kept his other hand tight on his .38 - you never could be too careful around these parts.

Iconeum suddenly appeared in the alleyway.

How did he get here, and who told him where Tracer Bullet was?

Suddenly thoughts of paranoia raced through Tracer Bullet's head and he warily kept his eyes on the two newcomers.

Lunchmeat coveniently asleep in an out of the way alley, Iconeum suddenly showing up right after Lunchmeat woke up, this is what the Dame Pooky had warned Tracer about the night before!

Was the alleyway a trap? Did Lunchmeat lure Tracer Bullet here so that he could take him out with his buddy while everyone else was asleep!?

Tracer Bullet calmly backed up against the alleyway wall - keeping both suspects in his vision at all times,

His right hand now gripped his trusty .38, his left hand holding the cigarette to his lips.

They could think Tracer Bullet is outmatched here, but they'd be wrong...

Tracer Bullet had escaped tougher jams than this - thought he knew at least one of the bad guys was ready to die for the cause.

Had Tracer Bullet gotten uncomfortably close to the truth?!!!!!!!!!!?
