Er no

The Chinese have political reasons to spy on me, that I don’t exactly trust
Plus it may be cheap but it’s not well made
Not to generalize, but I got some Vietnam-made shirts as a Christmas present once and they were like, super uncomfortable
So imo cheap is not worth it (doesn’t mean I’ll be buying anything Supreme sells tho)

In post 281, luncheon wrote:I think I'm liking town!jake at the moment. My gut says that the lack of conscientiousness displayed in stubbornly defending that position in the mech discussion is town indicative.

Which leaves gamma/ico, ico/pooky, gamma/pooky
In post 290, luncheon wrote:My idea being that its town indicative to be wrong in the first place about such things (because it makes their thought process unique). From there, stubbornly defending that thought process would feel unnatural as scum because it provokes pooky in this situation and also comes across as anti-town if you're wrong.

Like jake's showing a.. lack of conscientiousness? whereas scum!pooky would feel righteous in defending a pro-town mech argument because what their doing could be considered objectively pro-town.

pedit: pooky being in the PoE has not much to do with them pushing the correct mech play
Do you have any input on my takes? I wasn’t as heated as those 2 but I did publicize some of my thoughts there.

So Iconeum’s return today definitely improved how I’m feeling about him, luncheon not so much. I think I’d rate My suspects list, strongest to weakest, as luncheon>>Jake>Ico>Pooky, the arrows aren’t exact distance, I just wanted to make it clear there’s a significant gap in there
I’m not too worried about finding a partner rn, I’m expect that will become evident with time and effort. Anyway
Pseudo-vote luncheon

I feel like actually trying to apply some form of tangible pressure so this will have to do

Alright now time to disclose what I’m doing. I basically saw this as an opportunity to prove myself not aligned with either Pooky or luncheon. Look back at how obviously suspicious my first post after Iconeum voted is.

So at this point the team is either exactly luncheon and Pooky which in that case we have like 3 hours for Icon to unvote before luncheon comes on just about, or one/both of Iconeum or Jake is scum. If it’s the case that only one is scum, I’m very much inclined to trust Pooky to be Town over luncheon because I was actually growing quite concerned about it being Pooky and luncheon and they were trying to avoid engaging my ploy and making it so I couldn’t be linked to them

There's also the possibility that you're aligned with Luncheon, seeing as they haven't replied yet, which could entirely mean they haven't been online. For angleshooitng reasons, I will not discuss other information that could make this theory more valid.
They only post late at night my time, but I started the gambit late night/early morning, then continued it in the afternoon. Why continue it at a time where I know nothing will come of it?
Also I consider this argument perfectly fine because posting times within the day are perfectly viewable and I don’t see why a gambit based on them should be disallowed, I had a player in a game I modded use my active hours to inform one of their gambits and when I panic-checked with my co-mods they said it was fair play.

So I felt like the confidence luncheon had was pretty scummy
But Jake listing me as strongest suspicion is way worse because from his POV the fact he hadn’t been hammered yet should make Iconeum confscum

Perhaps. Why did you not suspect Iconeum more?

Like, not only is it legitimately foreign spyware, it also discriminates against unsightly (read: ugly) people, inspires stupid/awful behavior (have you seen the stuff about them role playing Holocaust victims? That shit’s fucked) and is just annoying in general

It’s more of a nationality vs an ethnicity

And yeah I don’t trust Chinese spyware as an American, I don’t trust them to have an shared interests with me. At least when Google is spying on me it wants to sell me more stuff, so it has to do certain things that align with my interests
So uh
I'd like to apologize to Pooky about the idea that targeted ads are trying to sell me things
For the past few days I've been dealing with same uninteresting ads for Epic Seven, so it's clear they're not actually trying to aim for my interests, just being dicks
