VOTE: harrington
PhDs have low immune systems due to lack of sunlight (more prone to contagion). therefore, Harrington is the most likely to be a carrier and is not fit to be around us healthy lunged children.

I think I'm liking town!jake at the moment. My gut says that the lack of conscientiousness displayed in stubbornly defending that position in the mech discussion is town indicative.
Not_Mafia hard pushing Dashwood for no reason is suspicious as hell, and the fact that Dashwood is at Ex-1 with little effort is concerning, especially when no one has given reason to vote them.
On the other hand, I think scum!jake would definitely write this post

My idea being that its town indicative to be wrong in the first place about such things (because it makes their thought process unique). From there, stubbornly defending that thought process would feel unnatural as scum because it provokes pooky in this situation and also comes across as anti-town if you're wrong.
Like jake's showing a.. lack of conscientiousness? whereas scum!pooky would feel righteous in defending a pro-town mech argument because what their doing could be considered objectively pro-town.
pedit: pooky being in the PoE has not much to do with them pushing the correct mech play

yeah but its more to do with jake stubbornly defending the wrong mech play.
scum will usually stubbornly defend a correct mech play whereas scum won't usually stubbornly defend an incorrect mech play (unless they don't know its incorrect).
In this instance i think scum!jake would know what he's saying doesn't make sense and i don't think its the case that scum!jake genuinely wouldn't understand the ramifications of something like a suicide bomber play, for eg.

In post 293, Iconeum wrote:i'm having a hard time believing that something like
'oh look this player is pushing objectively correct mech play, let's keep this player in the PoE'
not to mention that all of this should be NAI at best
yeah i agree, that is nai which is why pooky's in the poe? i don't get why you're suggesting that i shouldn't have pooky in my poe for that.
on the surface i guess its, "this player is correct, that player is incorrect, townread on that player" and that could disturb people?
However I genuinely think its more difficult to pretend you don't understand something and defend a position you know is wrong than it is to defend the right mech play.
And that misunderstanding mech as it pertains to scum role mechanics can be a genuine towntell
"You say you were on vacation when all the action went down, that's damn convenient, where exactly did you go and what exactly did you do? And is there anyone who can vouch for your alibi?

@Tracer I'd like to suggest an ico/gamma pairing, I find it weird that they were posturing to scum read me when i had the initial TR Jake but since then seem content to bonk Jake and I don't anything significant to account for that progression in the way that I would generally expect, or that it feels sudden.
Also, apologies for lackluster activity in general this game. I'll be here for the rest of the game with a much more frequent response time, for what that's worth.

damn that sucks, I think I was overall close to townreading both Jake and Gamma in conjunction with one another.. Probably should've started playing earlier, but like was hoping for some interaction at the end there but I definitely think we should've bonked iconeum today regardless
