Many of the following rules are formalities. Most are fluid. Do not test or abuse the rules.

c)
Familiarize yourself with the Forum Rules & Guidelines, linked above. Make sure to stay on top of any new Important Announcements.
d)
Do not harass any other player or try to ruin the fun of the game for anyone.
e)
Do not play against your Win Condition. You may privately request replacement at any time.
f)
Do not use encrypted, invisible, or ridiculously tiny text. I may edit your posts if you do.
g)
All votes and unvotes must be bolded or contained in a VOTE: or UNVOTE: tag. Votes inside quote, spoiler, area, or any similar tags will not be counted.
h)
Once a player has accumulated half of the votes (rounded down) plus one, an Elimination occurs and no further votes that Day are counted.
j)
If there is no majority vote reached before the deadline, there will be No Elimination. If you do not submit an Action before the deadline, you will perform No Action.
k)
The Day phases will be a maximum of 5 days long and the Nights a maximum of 36 hours. All deadlines are as posted or until the Mod arrives.
m)
Every 24 hours that you do not make a post, you will receive a prod for each day since your last post. Accumulating three prods may result in your replacement.
n)
If you think you will be unable to post for an extended period of time, please contact me privately so that we can make the appropriate arrangements.

Welcome back, Students! I'm sure you've all had an eventful and wonderfully productive summer, but it is so good to see all your faces here so close together. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances that were impossible to anticipate, things will not exactly be "business as usual" this school year; there is going to be a massive overhaul of how we run things here in the Education System. These rule changes may seem drastic at first, but please know that everything we do is for the safety of our Students. Henceforth and taking effect

, there is to be 1) zero tolerance for hugging and 2) an embargo on sharing juiceboxes with more than one (1) visible chew mark in the straw. Please review and adhere to all these new safety regulations.

It has been a challenging first day back to school for all, especially for us in administration. This is no easy time for a collective board to make congruent decisions regarding our masses of students. It is not without great horror and shame that we must inform you all of a potential leak in this school's otherwise airtight seal of sanitation. Do not be alarmed, but we did receive several reports of inappropriate behaviour directed at a member of our faculty. Continue to be vigilant; if you see or hear anyone, staff or student, sniffling or sneezing, please report immediately to the administration. The offending faculty member has been summarily executed. This is all becoming so dystopian! Wherever will we find another such over-qualified custodian?

Thank you all for a replacement-free game! Not quite as eventful a game as the setup allows, with neither the IC nor the Suicide Bomber going off. I will release the Private Threads in 24 hours, until then if you have any posts you would like redacted, please feel free to contact me.
I welcome and would appreciate any and all honest feedback, and I have a few questions if you all wouldn't mind taking the time.
Did you find the votecounts clear and easy to read?
What board skin do you typically use (mafBlack, Silver, Sepia, Tiger, etc)?
Should daytalk have been allowed for the Mafia?
Was the game's ruleset apt and sufficiently concise?
Should the prod and replacement system be more official?

the idea of quick deadlines was to stimulate more urgency and hopefully more action. I guess i will have to look that one over again. thanks for your feedback!
@Iconeum, I'm not sure how real your frustration over the mass prod was so I didn't comment at the time, but it was at a point where half the playerlist hadn't posted in over 24 hours. I recognize that you had recently posted but with the general pace of the game I figured a mass prod was in order. I also wasn't even keeping an official count of personal prods

yea about halfway through day 2 I tested mafBlack and realized it defaults to white text even in a coloured table, and even with the text colour set to black it has a weird phantom background. I don't imagine the school bus style headers were all too visible either.
On that note, how many of you are able to see the Impact font in my titles and headers? it shows up for me on my laptop but not on my phone.

I think I will just have to abandon the idea of tables as votecounts, with mafBlack being the current site default. unless I can convince chamber or someone to fix it for text set to #000000. The table was meant to be streamline, but the doubled text on mafBlack makes it look cluttered. like I said even with the text set to dark the doubled text still appears, making it even less legible.
