hm so you should eliminate the player who consensus has highest probability to be scum (as usual) - the difference is that in this setup if they're town they turn around and get a vig shot that should be somewhat better than a 2/3 chance of hitting correctly
it seems quite difficult to eliminate scum d1 in any case because you need their partner's vote to be on them, creating the other problem that it seems really hard to effectively read players outside of associatives, and even those can be faked well during the course of a gameday

In post 19, Isis wrote:GP, what is your basis for arguing I'm a strong player rather than a prolific one? You didn't contradict my opening to this game so I see a gap there. Are you an alt?
I am not an alt! I don't have an exceptionally strong basis for your strength of play other than the fact that I've seen you often on MD where - if i remember correctly - you make consistently high-quality and levelheaded points. plus, you're a listmod, so maybe i'm a bit biased I think your opening is great if slightly wishy-washy, and i do want to have a conversation about mechanics with you; i'm inclined to agree that limming scum (or at least the scummiest player)d1 is the better option.

I'm heavily getting the impression that shelly/bulge are different alignments atm, and out of the two i'm leaning more heavily on the former being town
however, that implies isis is scum! VOTE: isis

not much tbh
its not conclusive yet as well
VOTE: TGP
i don't see these posts likely to come together from scum

I can see town/town making these posts to pressure you. i agree s/s here on flashwagon doesnt make sense but you convienently left out the part where you said we are *different alignments* which doesnt explain why we cant be t/t
you can't be t/t because i'm town
is this a scumslip

how is it a scumslip?
fmpov i don't know if you're town.
i mean okay but the fact that it's not t/t is kind of given
ya think i'm scum with isis?
In post 40, TheGoldenParadox wrote:hmm maybe the way they both switched from you onto me is a wifom gambit i can see scumshelly doing that
LOL so you end up walking in circles back to start
5 minutes ago: shelly is town
5 mins later: oh its wifom
why did you call me town in the first place btw
looked s/t at first glance with a bias towards you being town but hm
why was the bias there?
thought you were playing like your towngames
but now i think you're going with the status quo in a way i don't expect from town!shelly VOTE: shelly
cannot for the life of me think if you're scum with bulge or isis tho
In post 38, Isis wrote:really though, I think IioA is generally scummy as a default, but there are valid exceptions you can apply where it's not. I do think if you pulled up a random completed normal and tallied IioA and ignored context and guessed scum based on it, you'll do better than rand.
isis do you think what tgp is doing is an exception or do you see the scumminess as well?
I'm not sure how much I pushed him into a fluffy topic myself. I think it's scummy but it could be coming from town.
That might seem like an unremarkable comment, but if you get good at it, it is actually sometimes possible to get slamdunkscumreads off of IioA when the context is right.
pedit: wow so many pedits in a four player game!
this is making me feel more confident on an isis/shelly scumteam

dangit isis, i read this as feeling super genuine well played on your part. shelly felt terrible at the end there but i was considering herovigging bulge sad i did not
