How much do people think we should try to get the flagbearer instead of the goon on d1? Scum really want to hard defend their partner, so maybe that’ll help us get flagbearer reads. Though they could also try to hard defend townies for wine.

Yeah with half the other players being scum it's easy to get paranoid. Rn I'm still a bit worried about the easy TR when there's a flagbearer in the setup.

I want to see what happens with the drew slot but that might be our best elim today actually. Drew is more likely to be flagbearer than demon, and more likely to be scum than bug/JV.

I see what you're saying, I think it's more about the writing style than anything though.

I think this level of activity doesn't make a ton of sense for a flagbearer (clearly ircher has enough time to post here, so he could be even more active) and his posts aren't overly ambitious (no full readslists, tending to focus on specific posts). Especially since most other people could easily be scum who are trying to look town, I think it makes sense for someone else to be the flagbearer.

I have to ISO people but mark is towning it up so demon/bugspray makes some sense to me.

It was mostly that they felt like a townie just trying to say what was on their mind, that and drawing attention to the low activity in 43 that I felt was more likely to come from town. Then again, JV was the one who really got the game moving after that.

That is a great question - I primarily mentioned it because it just didn't seem consistent with a town mindset. I guess trying to generate greater momentum to miselim my slot would be a reason to exaggerate a read

Ircher's bugspray case actually read town to me, and I said so in 87. SRing bugspray for not really cooperating with the RQS seems towny to me--though it's not great logic, it makes sense for town!ircher to be biased towards people trying to cooperate, since he posted the RQS for a reason.

Maybe I should’ve given people more time to talk, but I think this is fine. I’m pretty confident JV is town here. If mark is scum, I thought bugspray was a more likely partner because of how mark seemed to be trying to swing votes onto demon instead. If it was bug/demon, we would win anyway. Looks like bug is claiming town, but since they’re vigging demon it probably hits scum anyway.

I meant you were the more likely partner for mark. Maybe I should’ve tried to push mark because of the anti-associatives between you and demon, but I don’t have a lot of good reasons why mark is scum based on his play and probably wouldn’t have gotten him limmed.
