Does anyone have thoughts on the setup/balance?

The not announcing replacements thing was a choice to try to reduce the impact of replacements on the game (Big thanks to Mathblade and bugspray, btw). I felt that replacements otherwise had a disproportionate effect on the odds of mafia finding each other early.

well this was one game

but I feel like mafia, if they aren't exed by day 2, almost always would have found eachother

so if you find your partner day 1 or think you reliably can day 2 it's always ideal to no kill night 1 which I'm not sure is great

i know i won't play something like this again because i really hated having to hold myself back from my usual behavior. that's not a knock on this particular setup though.

My biggest thing would be I would tell scum if their buddy replaces out but penalize them by making day go one day longer to help balance

this wouldn't work as by extending the day town would know a scum was replaced and it would fuck stuff up

speaking of pronouns, this was the first time in a while i was interacting with people appearing as male, and it would take me a second to register that "he" was referring to me. it was a nice confirmation of how i've left those pronouns behind.

I had fun. I think that Diego replacing mini doomed them because of mom’s dearhtunnel on Ben for pushing them.

So, I’m gathering that bugs intentionally no killed which was good but nothing could take away from the fact that anyone who replaced into that slot was fucked.

this game I was particularly annoyed at being scum read because I just got out of a game koba hosted where I death tunneled 3 mafia and still was being tinfoiled by a lot of players and it was actually the worst

Idk, I think it was beyond obvious to anyone who’s played with me that I was Luther but apparently not, since no one guessed me correctly.
